Love this mother and daughter Dinamic Duo!!! Madeline and Andrea, thank you for bringing so much joy to my knitting time. So much inspiration and you give me the sense of knowing I will cherish Knitting forever!
Truly enjoyed this vlog/episode of Fruity Knitting. I learned new techniques that I will expand my world of knitting. I learned embroidery as a child and always wanted to expand it on my knitwear without using intarsia. Your channel continues to evolve the world of knitting that can be used in my everyday experience. Your finished projects were divine. I purchased the book of sock patterns based on Madelyn’s coffee sock project. Thanks for your hard work that makes us want more , but also satisfies my passion of handwork.❤❤❤❤
Amazing! To be honest, you seldom fail to amaze me. I've had Dario Tubiana's Toucan jumper in my Ravelry favourites for ages and it was so, so intersting to hear about his processes in so much detail. i'm sure I will be watching it again. And the rest of the contet was absolutely charming. Thank you both so much x
I love Madeleine's socks and she shows them off beautifully in those shoes. Andrea, your sweater is beautiful and while you are so much more particular than I am, I learn from all your modifications and feel much more relaxed about making changes. Both interviews were very interesting, and they are always impressive for the amount of content you develop. I'm happy to be a Patreon, have watched every episode, many more than once, and always find something new. Thank you also for the fashion shoots, the travel, and the bits of history and story, they do bring a smile.
Madeleine is becoming such a great podcaster > funny , relaxed , confident and a pleasure to watch ❤💜💚💙 Really great> she is talking so much now and takes over the show a bit> fantastic
I totally agree that changing a pattern could be challenging, if not risky; however, this is where the creativity blossoms, by making small (& sometimes not so small) mistakes, learning from them, & learning to fix these mistakes
This was FANTASTIC! I listened very closely to Dario too. My mum was knitting and embroidering pieces in the early and mid 90s, but very reminiscent of the delicate English garden style embroidery designs, not Dario’s mixed styles. It’s a delight to discover this program. (And feel so at home with the Aussie accents!)
Mohair is 4x warmer than wool . So unless you only plan to wear it outdoors, the turtle neck is going to be extremely warm for indoors. Best to make a simple neck with no turtle for it, then make a cowl to wear over it for outdoors. But the sweater is lovely and looks great on you . Madelaine's socks a just simply charming ! What a great program. I really enjoyed the Icelandic interview info on the Tibetan sheep and Myak wool . The interview with Dario Tabiano was as spectacular as his work. I always loved wool embroidery and many years ago was enamoured with all the great wool embroidery coming out of Australian craft mags . Time to revisit my collection of those mags. It kind of got left by the wayside once I started needle felting which goes so much faster, but doesn't have the detail that embroidery has. Something I would like have heard discussed are the choices for weight of the yarns used. That would be an art form in itself and one of the distinctive differences between ordinary thread embroidery and wool embroidery . Thanks for another wonderful episode.
Andrea, how convenient your preference for more fitted garments is for sharing with Madelaine😊 And they are stunning on both of you. Thank you both for continually producing such beautiful and interesting videos. You outdid yourself finding the coffee song😅
A very fun and interesting episode as always 🥰 Andrea, I really like your sweater, the colour and everything but I also agree with Madeleine that you should knit something using just the Devonia yarn 🌚 I love, love, love Madeleine's socks and the "fashion show" at this beautiful area was perfect, especially dressed with the perfect song ☕ I found both interviews very interesting and I am looking forward to seeing you again 😀 Take care 😍🧦🧶
Such a fun fashion show with two fabulous finished projects! It put a smile on my face this morning that I needed 😄 Will hopefully watch the rest of your show later.
Andrea the first thing I thought when I first started watching the video was how stunning you looked, how wonderfully your sweater fit you and how perfect that color look with your hair and complexion.
Thank you so much for this episode. I went back and watched it. So wonderful to watch and now I want to purchase it. I hope it doesn't upset you, but it was lovely to see Andrew.
Marvelous ladies, your program does bring a smile to my face. It is comforting to spend time with you and I hope you are well. I am proudly supporting your show through Patreon. Long live Fruity Knitting! Edith from Québec xx
I don’t have time to watch the entire episode this morning, it made my day to see you posted one. So excited to see it tonight. You look beautiful in blue, Andrea and Madeline, your socks remind me of the simple joys in life. So cute!
Such a inspiring episode again, thanx Andrea and Madeleine! Dario is a real fiber-artist and makes beautiful pieces, I will certainly take a look at his patterns at Ravelry.
Back in the 1980’s when I was knitting for my teenage girls, I knitted lots of intarsia and embroidery designs on their jumpers. I still have one pattern that I kept from that time and would be beautiful now with embroidery done much like the vest that was in the segment with Dario. I must get it out and do it! Beautiful knitting in your gorgeous blue cabled jumper and also the coffee socks. Madeline could do some embroidery on the sock that she forgot to knit with the missing details!! Loved the show and interesting about the Icelandic wool and women. Many thanks. Xx
Charming pumpkin, Madeleine! Here in the USA it’s carved pumpkins everywhere you turn right now. It never stops being fun to see the pumpkins. Andrea, your fearlessness and expertise at altering patterns to make them just what you what them to be is always so interesting, educational, and inspiring. Thank you. The segment on Iceland was a delight. And the coffee socks are the cutest of things. Well done! Proud to be a monthly supporter!
Wow, absolutely beautiful. I always wanted to go and see Iceland. What a magical place!!! I am so happy to see people are going back to the roots with great spirit. Thank you for sharing this. I would LOVE to go. Much Love and keep up the good work.
Thank you beautiful yang ladies for another educational and wonderful fun episode ❤, I am watching you for many years, and I’m enjoying every single one of them 🤗👍👌😘🙋♀️🇦🇲
How nice to finally see an Italian designer in your program. Also congratulations to both of you, you are not only beautiful but also very talented! Warm greetings from Como, Italy
A wonderful episode full of love, color and creativity. For some time, I've been wanting to do a bold intarsia so immediately bought the vest pattern and yarn. Andrea, I hope you do some instruction videos about Intarsia ie, how to not get a sloppy first/last stitch, Thank you again for the professionalism of your knitting films.
Those sheep are spectacular. Re the 2 coat wool..my domestic cat has the 2 layer sheep coat too. She has a straight outer hair and a soft fluffy down under the top layer. I've collected her coat fluff this year and plan to spin it up and knit with my cat 'wool' 🐈.
I’m yet to attempt items of clothing. A lot of the men’s clothing out there is so baggy and unflattering…….and the patterns are quite limited in number, quality and design compared with the wealth of women’s clothing options available. I love the look of Dario’s work, though, so I’ll be having a look into more of his items and content to see what’s on offer! Discovered your RUclips channel through a linked story on a men’s knitting page on fb…….love your vibe/atmosphere: Feels like we’re all sat in your living having a knit-and-natter! 💜
I have only recently been watching your podcasts. They are well done and meeting the different designers, listening to each one’s process is fascinating. It is very frustrating for me that your camera is so far away from the people and most especially the projects. Seeing stitches up close makes everything so much more accessible. Hopefully there is a way for you to get us closer to the knitting.
Weaving in the ends of duplicate stitch was tough for me. I found it to be very bulky and in some cases noticeable from the front. I don't have this problem with weaving in typical knitted ends. Do you have recommended method?
Madeleine- just curious what brand your black ankle boots are (in the coffee socks segment)? I have been looking for something like them for a long time with no success!
I love your video lovely flower jumper keep up with the fab videos
A most interesting video. Love your sweaters and Madeleine's socks. 🇬🇧
Thank you, ladies, for another beautiful and informative episode. ♥♥
Black work embroidery is beautiful for its graphic qualities.
Love this mother and daughter Dinamic Duo!!! Madeline and Andrea, thank you for bringing so much joy to my knitting time. So much inspiration and you give me the sense of knowing I will cherish Knitting forever!
The socks look great, and oh my that blue sweater looks fabulous.
Fun fashion shoot and great socks!
Thank you for the beautiful video.
Andrea, that color (blue) looks AMAZING on you.
Beautiful fashion shoot! Great music. Thank you both so much❤️❤️❤️
Madeline has such a wonderful sense of humor throughout this episode!!! You two are so talented! I enjoy the podcast so much!

'Women and wool' always my two favourite 'things' together - BRAVO !!!
Hard to comment when speechless with wonder. !!!!!!
I love the embroidery on the knitting, there is no distortion of the fabric. Very skilled xxx

fantastic socks. For us coffee aficionados a great challenge. They look so cool on.

Wow you are both amazing you keep me mesmerized the entire chat x thank you.
Dario is my idol and inspiration!

The blue balls being painful comment by Madeline definately brought a smile to my face 😅.
Andrea the first thing I thought when I first started watching the video was how stunning you looked, how wonderfully your sweater fit you and how perfect that color look with your hair and complexion.
Thank you!
Wow! Absolutely loving the embroidery on knits ❤ very inspirational!

Dario and his designs are just adorable 🥰
Thank you so much for this episode. I went back and watched it. So wonderful to watch and now I want to purchase it. I hope it doesn't upset you, but it was lovely to see Andrew.
Thank you for this episode - esp. for nearly making me cry with laughter over the particularly uncomfortable blue ball🙈
Muchas gracias!!! qué maravillosas que son, madre e hija, las quiero!!

Truly love the pumpkin, Madeleine! 😄 Happy Halloween to you!
Thank you Edith!
Замечательный выпуск❤
Dario ❤️⚡️
I don’t have time to watch the entire episode this morning, it made my day to see you posted one. So excited to see it tonight. You look beautiful in blue, Andrea and Madeline, your socks remind me of the simple joys in life. So cute!
Each segment was full of inspiration from your finished objects, to the Icelandic women’s wool work, to Dario’s enchanting embroideries. Wow!
Such a inspiring episode again, thanx Andrea and Madeleine! Dario is a real fiber-artist and makes beautiful pieces, I will certainly take a look at his patterns at Ravelry.
Beautiful!!!
Beautiful content as usual,
I would duplicate stitch those missing spots onto my coffee socks! Simple and easy to do.

Just loved the work of the Rosso Cardinale, Dario. Such a talented designer. Thanks for another wonderful episode.
Super fantastic episode
Love it all 🧶🧶🧶
Your work is always exquisite. Both Madeleine and you have real talent and style.
Love, love, love your Kim Hargreaves “mash-up” Andrea, the colour is stunning 🤩. She is an amazing designer.
A wonderful episode full of love, color and creativity. For some time, I've been wanting to do a bold intarsia so immediately bought the vest pattern and yarn. Che bella sorpresa Dario!😊
So inspiring to see Dario’s pieces! Another truly phenomenal episode! I am so tempted to go to Iceland for their wool week!! ❤
Two episodes in three weeks? Is it Christmas already? 🎄 🎁
Another VERY enjoyable episode! I found it interesting that this was posted on the same day that Icelandic women went on strike.
ah yes, the struggle for the goldilocks length to go with skirts and pants. I love Madeleine's steamy coffee socks!
Absolutely love Dario’s work! I regret not having chosen IED to study at after being admitted
I am soo so happy I have find yous part of the RUclips about knitting ❤❤🥰✨🫶🏻🫶🏻 with you from 🇩🇰denmark happy new year it now Will be for me 🥰✨👌🏻
Socks look amazing well done
Love this. Please tell me what lovely shoes Madeline has on with her beautiful 🧶 coffee ☕️ socks?
Love your socks, am I the only one seeing little bunnies in the steam?
❤❤❤

Fabulous episode - please, please tell me where the gorgeous lace up shoe/boots are from.
Интересно посмотреть что Вы вяжете. На Ваш вязанный гардероб. Есть такое видео?
You could add those little color blips in the socks with duplicate stitch. (Oops your mom just said the same thing! LOL)
Great episode As always. can you tell me what pattern Madeleine's jumper is please? Thanks.
Мадлен ты сейчас вяжешь тунисским крючком?
Excellent episode! Andrea, where can i get Dario's guacamaya sweater pattern!? Can't find it anywhere🤔
How heavy is the Adler Sweater? Also, I would love to see the underside of the sweater. Great episode!
I wanted to see the back side of Andrea’s work (so badly😂) , I have tried intarsia but it didn’t look very nice
Weaving in the ends of duplicate stitch was tough for me. I found it to be very bulky and in some cases noticeable from the front. I don't have this problem with weaving in typical knitted ends. Do you have recommended method?
Could you tell me the name of the pattern for the lovely cable cardigan that Madeline is wearing in your latest episode?
Madeleine- just curious what brand your black ankle boots are (in the coffee socks segment)? I have been looking for something like them for a long time with no success!
the brand is called Think
@@FruityKnitting thanks!
Bit of a cheeky question:
What happened to the chess set that Madeline was knitting? Did I miss/forget that she finished it?
