Genius at works...fucking hell...Tori you are the only person on the face of this earth who can squeeze the last juices of the piano and turn it to most beautiful almost heavenly sounds...my ears shall be forever your slave....
@@robertschrader I noticed that too about 2005. Really crummy live performances. Very nasally sound the whole tour. But I feel like since 2012 she's got it together more. Certainly not like in the 90s, but beautiful nevertheless
@@robertschrader I thought her voice was fine in 2005. Her voice is definitely weaker today though, since at least the Gold Dust album. I was really disappointed when, on one of her more recent tours, she started singing her song "Floating City" from her Y Kant Tori Read album and she was barely able to get through it. She still sounds beautiful, just nowhere near as well as she used to sound
MMMAAAGGGGNNNNNIIIIFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIQQQQUUUUEEEE !!!!!!
I love this woman!!! I have bought all her albums since they were released. I saw her live in Manchester. Looking forward to seeing her live in Glasgow next year xx The original on the album is better because it doesn't have so many pauses but I love this, too.
I am so in love with this song. Thanks, Tori!

concur
What a performance! The Unrepentant Geraldines era was such a great time for Tori.
this is from The Beekeeper, which was released a decade before Unrepentant Geraldines. But hey, you're into Tori, that's the main thing :)
@@StrangeAttractor Oh, what I meant was the UG era in general. I've been Ears with Feet since 1998 *highfive
@@StrangeAttractor This performance was from 2014. Tori could barely sing in 2005.

This performance reminds me that the Tori Amos that I love from 20 years ago is still alive and well somewhere in there.

Her hands on the keys are MAGICAL
Amazingly Beautifully Breathtaking
This is one of the most beautiful Tori songs and what an incredible performance 😘👌

I wish there were more videos like this where we can see her amazing hands do their thing!
Definitely feeling this song tonight. I’m too set in my ways. Maybe my heart won’t ever be open again.
