Adam is amazing I can’t even and well done Britain!💜
brits oblitirated them
Love this type of medley. It really depends in which order you put your athletes. Very uncertain till end. Russia managed to stand at 5th position despite they were lagging initially.
Back when Peaty had a baby face. Now GB are Olympic Champions in this event with a WR!
That was a amazing race
I like seeing Americans pissed off.
Speaking of seeing, perhaps you can show me where I asked?
Adam peaty👌
I love hearing how delfated they sound because they didn't win😂
I know. It was almost, hey we can do it….no…..no you’re right I’m being stupid…..but at least it’s the Brit’s not the Naz…er I mean Germans.
Great swim
Congratulation!!!
the mixed event is so fun, they should have mixed individual event also, not just the relay
How’s that fair for women to have to individually compete with men though?
Yeah the only reason it works for relay is cause it's split equally between men and women and then it's a game of tactics, like the 34 point relay in para swimming
That would be pointless..
Bet you wrote this just to cause a stir.
Should been Grevers instead of Murphy in both medley relays
Daniel Cavalier Grevers was in a bad shape back then
Nikola Acin Everybody says that, but Grevers was in best shape than Murphy. Ryan did a 53 flat in the men's medley relay and more than 53 here, Grevers made 52.66. Grevers should been in both medley relays finals, it's unfair
Daniel Cavalier Ryan went an amazing 52.18(with that time he would be first in the 100 back) in the heats so coaches obviously decided to put him in the finals as well. He swam bad in finals probably because he was under a lot of pressure and he couldn't handle the high expectations... But when you think about it those were his first worlds...
Nikola Acin But US relay teams are comformed by the best positioned swimmer in the finals, that's how it work's, Murphy didn't swim the 100 back, he didn't even qualified, so it's kind unfair he swam the two finals
that was a different murphy from the olympics ....
Bad strategy from Russia
This stuff's confusing. Regular relays are easy to track, but men/women everybody's diving in differently, then leads are gobbled up, then a bunch of big gaps, then some team goes from 6 --> 2 in one lap, etc etc. Cool concept but gimmicky and hard to watch and follow.
I think that makes it more fun.
i agree they're a fairly redundant addition to the swimming programme. swimmers already get shit talked by other sports who say there are too many team events, especially for the olympics
@@Viccobalta I wonder if they'll ever add mixed relays to the Olympics...
@@tenningale this year i thought they had already...
@@Viccobalta You're right, I checked and they have the mixed medley. They don't have the mixed 4x100 and 4x200 free relays
Nice
