Hurricane Hilary slams parts of Mexico as Southern California braces for potential flooding

Hurricane Hilary is bearing down on Mexico as residents of Southern California and others throughout the Southwest brace for the storm to move into the region. Officials said the storm could bring life-threatening rip currents and deadly mudslides. NBC News’ Priscilla Thompson reports.
