Guys, don't ever fall for affiliate videos like this. I've done extensive research on REITs, which is what these platforms sell you. There's a ton of VERY important information here that this video never touched on, especially the bad stuff. Do your research! Be smart!
REITs are a great option as well! Personally, I invest in all three. And you’re right about the affiliate nature of this video. It’s a small way to be compensated for the free content I’m providing. Since I believe in both of these platforms (Arrived and Fundrise), it’s a great way to support brands I believe in while earning a living. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Are you being paid by these companies? What are the fees? Can you take the money out whenever you want? Why not buy a REIT? When you invest in a REIT you take your money out whenever you want and it also provides much more diversity in your real estate investment.
I invest through both of these platforms - Arrived and Fundrise. I am also an affiliate so if you decide to try them out using the links in my video description, I receive a small commission. As for fees, check 9:57 in the video. These platforms are not for short-term investing. 5-10+ years is a good sweet spot. I also invest in REITs through Vanguard, but I enjoy the variety offered through these two platforms here as well. I can buy shares of an individual home with Arrived. And potentially get a higher return with Fundrise (than traditional REITs) -- TBD there! I hope that answers your questions Jason!
Yes, he has affiliate links in his description to both companies so yes, they pay him but it's very obvious from how he's pitching them. More importantly, his information shared here is trash, unfortunately. I've spent hours researching this type of investment. There's a BOAT LOAD more of information to learn before considering investing in this. There's a lot of good but also a lot of bad.
So I see from the calculator you get around 10% but what about your original investment the principal do you get that back. Because to put 1k to get 100 a year would take 10 years but I assume you get the original 1k back?

thanks for the comparison. my favorite way to invest is still mortgage notes though. You get a better return with less fees
Thanks for watching and contributing!

Thank you for being honest
These platforms are not reits. Major differences in returns and liquidity. I suggest people ignore bluezy710. This is a good starter video.

Hello you not telling all the fees and bad management???
What about Landa? Or, Groundfloor?
Thank you, great content, much appreciated!
You're welcome!
In your opinion, Fundrise or arrived ?
The more I invest in both of them, the more I appreciate Arrived BUT with such limited inventory lately, it’s tough to even invest more!
Fundrise is commercial and residential property.
arrived homes hands down
I'm personally enjoying it!
eh... numbers are suspect
These companies are making it more difficult for people to live financially free…
