If official developers won't give us the Godzilla fighting game we deserve, the fan community will do it for them. Having said that, this mod looks so nice.
Aka rage mode by default lol. Goddamn that's an impressive mod, i never thought this type of shit was possible. We gotta see more of the potential of this game!
This is one of the most badass mods to any game Ive EVER seen! Playing this at 0.75 speed made it look like a Cenimatic for a movie it was sooo good!!!
Absolutely badass. Amazing work. Say, since the atomic glow is on the spines, would it be theoretically possible to assign the glow when preparing the beam to also appear on the body's orange bits?
Thanks! I think the engine could support that, but I believe the effects are applied to specific bones in the "MONSTER_DATA" file in the character bundles, so it'll be a while before we figure out how to do it.
Nope, those are just minor leftovers from the Wii version. The character files are waaaay different between the two games and are incompatible with each other.
If they ever make another Godzilla game, they should include multiple skins for the monsters like in Super Smash Bros. For example, the Godzilla Unleashed Overhaul skins. At least I think that’d be a good idea.
Agreed. From what I hear though, Toho is pretty strict when it comes to skins. They weren't allowed to add any to the Pipeworks games and the recent Gigabash Godzilla DLC just has basic red/green/blue tinted skins for all of the monsters. The Battle Line mobile game does seem to have a few interesting skins though so maybe there's hope.
Same. There's a lot of potential for simple skin swaps. I could even see the Showa Mechagodzilla being a skin for Mechagodzilla 2 since MG2's moveset has a lot in common with the Showa MG.
@@DylanRocket Actually, Showa MG was planned as a character in the game along with Super MG. But was dropped due to already having 2 MGs in the game (ironically, Showa MG was added to Wii version of Unleashed despite both MG2 and Kiryu already being in the game).
It was actually me lol, so thanks! I made this texture about two weeks before Nastysoft was formed. I guess since the first animated STEO trailer already confirmed Burning Godzilla, I can say that Iris did make a Burning Godzilla texture a while later that's way better than mine lol. Like the STEO Anguirus texture though, it's pretty outdated so it'll probably be remade for STEM.
Thanks for this mod! It looks pretty great. Also, I read the description in which you said the 4x damage cheat code has little effect on buildings. That's interesting and bizarre. It looks like when the developers were programming the cheat codes into the game it looks like they prioritized the 4x damage cheat codes to work primarily on other kaiju rather than the environment. Maybe this was a result of the developers being pressed for time so they focused more on delivering damage to opponents instead of the city. By the way, I have some questions for you. 1 If you ever do decide to make videos of kaiju fighting opponents with certain cheat codes activated (infinite rage, 4x damage, and infinite rage and 4x damage together), I believe you would end up with 58 videos worth of content. You have 19 kaiju playable in base game (I'm counting the adult version of Mothra as a separate character in this case since she is so different than the larval version). You have softmodded your console to make Biollante playable making 20 kaiju playable. Considering it would take you 3 videos per kaiju to show everything off (otherwise your videos are going to be very long), of the playable kaiju 19 of them have the infinite rage cheat codes work fine on them with adult Mothra being the only exception since she can't enter rage mode and would only have 4x damage cheat code to make a video out of; you would end up with 19 kaiju times 3 per monster equaling 57 plus the one for adult Mothra's sole video showcasing 4x damage would equal 58. Is this correct, or do you plan on making videos out of beta Moguera which will increase the number depending on what cheat codes work on him? If all three cheat codes can work on beta Moguera that would increase the videos in this series to 61. 2 If you ever do decide to do these videos, could you please have the playable kaiju face opponents that don't have specific weaknesses to their attacks? I feel that if you do this, you would be artificially inflating the damage these cheat codes could bring to your opponents. Maybe you can do this as bonus section of a video, but not the primary showcase of the video. For example, if you have any of the Godzilla variations fight Mecha-King Ghidorah, the battle is going to be over very quickly. 3 I have an idea for a joke video you could do. You're going to need two player controlled kaiju, but you can probably do this by yourself if you can switch between the two kaiju quickly enough. First, enter the infinite rage and 4x damage cheat codes for player 1. Go to versus mode and have have a match with Godzilla 90's as player 1 and Jet Jaguar as player 2. When the match begins have Jet Jaguar enter his small form that has that energy barrier. Then, have Godzilla 90's activate his rage attack, and when it hits switch to Jet Jaguar and have him reflect the beam back at Godzilla 90's. I wonder how much damage the reflection would do in this state? How massive would the damage be, and could it have the potential to be a one hit kill?
Thanks! It is rather odd that it doesn't affect buildings... Come to think of it, I did have to reset the game to accommodate for a small change I made to the camera settings, so I actually might be wrong that the 4x damage code is in effect in this video if I had forgotten to re-enter it in the menu. 1. Hmm, I might include Beta MOGUERA if you're interested. There's also three other beta characters, so I guess the total would actually be 70 if I include them! 2. Sure! I thought about this as well. 3. That's a good idea! I've been curious as well to see if reflected beams still are affected by the 4x damage codes.
Thanks for answering all my questions! Also, three more beta characters!? Well, the more the merrier! I would love it if you included all of them as well.
They should add Burning Godzilla in the Godzilla game called Godzilla Save The Earth Melee game by the RUclipsr/Game Designer name "Gojirex". He made incredible design of Godzilla Save The Earth Melee. I saw or seen his videos on RUclips that they're amazing and awesome. You should check it out.
@@GaiusIntrepidus It's not a cheat code. By "code", I mean that the developers already programmed the free camera feature into the game. But you can't access it without modding the game.
Is it possible to set the camera similarly to the challenge modes or even like in Godzilla Unleashed's story mode while also not being locked to a certain distance from your opponent in VS mode?
"Is it possible to set the camera similarly to the challenge modes?" There's probably a really complicated way to do this, but it would involve heavily modifying the game's scripts which are in a proprietary format. "[...] not being locked to a certain distance from your opponent in VS mode?" This is actually possible though! If you look at my Survival mode video with Burning Godzilla (particularly the Kiryu battle at the end), you can see that I am able to go much farther away from the opponent than the game normally allows. I increased the tether radius so that more distance is allowed between the characters.
@@DylanRocket Cool, I should of checked that video out earlier! If possible, could you send the files for that or at least show how to increase that distance?
