    Understand the skipping of obstacles. I have a fairly capable truck, but it has to take me home too. I cant push it too much because of that.

    Great video! Looks like you guys had an awesome time. Your Armada is looking sweet and performing well. I’m slowly building mine and will be looking into your control arms down the road! Keep up the content!

    sweet!! loving the Armada content. not gonna lie though, I held my breath at 11:31 when that rock hit your step - have you thought about rock sliders?

    • @Garage23
      @Garage23  2 месяца назад +1

      Definitely looking into making sliders but not sure if we want to market that as we don't have the space to mass produce and stock something of that size. Same with the roof racks.

      @@Garage23 makes sense. I ended up getting a cheap roof rack off Amazon and DIYing some mounts. for rock sliders, I am looking at 4xInnovations - supposedly the 95-04 Double Cab Tacoma sliders will fit the Gen 2 Armadas - I don't have access to tubing otherwise I would totally make something custom

    Hey, awesome stuff, man! The control arm is really sweet, I remember watching your old videos about it, I got a 1st Gen Armada 4x4 and I've found that a lot of the suspension components are the same on the 2nd Gen's, the vehicles pretty much look the exact same underneath! You could look into marketing the rear control arms to 1st Gen Armada people too, I'm about 100% sure that those are the same part, you can cross reference the part number and also the aftermarket control arms to check for sure! Looks exactly the same. Also I really like the roof rack and the whole build!

      Thanks so much! Yeah we are in fact marketing the arms as applicable to 2004 to 2024 Armada, Q56 and QX80. They are all the same. It's quite the cost cutting on Nissans part 😅

      Not at the moment but definitely something we could look into. They have similar issues with alignment after a coil lift right?

    How about making arms for the R51 Pathfinder in the US? I believe there is a LARGE base for these trucks that have lifted it and can't find an easy fix to correct the rear alignment.

      I believe one of our followers was taking that on, i forgot what their user name was but if that doesn’t pan out it is something we will look into.

      Using ATRAC will get you thru those parts you got stuck on and also get you up that hill climb without having to "send it" up. Just give it some steady, low RPMs and ATRAC will kick in and get you through. Also it woulda prevented that meteor lol.

      @@dimwitrj it was my first time out, I was new to off-roading, I've learned a lot now. And now know to to use the truck to do most of the work. Thanks for the tip 🤙🏼

    I wonder if this lower control arm works on the first gen 2012 titan .

    • @Garage23
      @Garage23  17 дней назад

      Unfortunately no. It’s a rear upper control arm, and titans have solid axle rears
