I read elsewhere someone’s wife was like 50k+ in debt I think through the husband’s credit card, so one of them declared bankruptcy and after that she’s still lavishly spending, husband can’t open no cards, and maxing all the credit cards she can get her hands on, vacations, all that. Plenty of people out there just like that, don’t care and playing the system and paycheck to paycheck, even if they make 100k-200k+ 😂
I'm 77 & when 401k's, 403b's. IRA's, etc. were started in the 1980's, I knew then that it was there to replace & not supplement existing ,defined pension plans! Americans should have rejected these plans initially & insisted that major companies continue offering pensions! I am fortunate enough to have both & now that I am retired & forced to take out an RMD (Required minimum distribution) from the IRA, it is forcing me into a higher tax bracket!
FACTS💯💯💯 minimum wage is 7.25 We can't even compete with other states. We are always the lowest paid with the highest taxes. If your not ahead by now... God help you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

As of today, this figure is an even more of an indictment of the USA. How a Country that proclaims its Affluence, Civilisation and Standard of Living has this percentage of people living on the edge is bewildering...
That is because many young people today have not been brought up with a mentality of saving for the future. Too many claim that they are living paycheck to paycheck, yet take multiple yearly expensive vacations, drive expensive new vehicles, live in expensive homes, and wear designer clothes and expensive jewelry. The bottom line is they spend money as quickly as they make it.
And the next 4 years and the next 4 years and the next 4 years. Do you really think that the Republicans give a damn that we have millions of people living in poverty?

@@MrEnky007 my sacrifices were/are living with parents aka no rent, buying generic groceries and learning to make healthy and cheap meals from RUclips, driving an used crappy car, buying clearance rack clothes only when I need it, etc. i only make slightly above median income…. So it’s possible but most of y’all can’t live like me lol
