There is a compatibility list of games that stutter or have other problems, from what I've learned either you use an external source of power for your USB or play trought network, and for the SD card method I think waiting for progression on the development is what can be done
Hey Blaine, Great Video! Quick question, I see in the comments you said the memory card port is faster than the USB port. How does it handle streaming of the video content of the games? Does it overcome the choppy videos in some games that were ran from USB?
I can help. The answer is both yes and no. For the yes it does work in a more smooth manner with very little to no hitches on movie playback. The no part is that it doesn't run at full Ethernet adapter speed so it's about 5% or so slower, but you will only notice that through side by side video time testing.
I'm confused. If I bought the magic gate free mcboot memory card from helders, do you have to still do these steps? I thought their card is already set up so you don't have to do anything.
Last time they had it in stock was April 1st. I was on the waiting list and never got an email. You can save on the FMCB card, you'll have less space for saves tho since there are apps there. This memcard method is great if your only option is USB since it will be marginally faster and have less slowdowns, but if you can use SMB or the HDD, then don't bother.
@@antonioaguiarfilho If you can, make sure your FMCB is an official 8mb one so all games can save to it.
