Does the $995 come with customization? Panel type definitions, material application, conversion to type based? Are all the subcomponents door families?
Have a sample single fily and frame to dissect?

      Hey Ron,
Great to hear from you, sir! :)
Customization would be extra. Could convert/create as type based. We weighed both approaches very heavily, and spent a lot of time deliberating. Ultimately we went with type based for sizes, and a few other parameters, but went instance based on most parameters to minimize the amount of types. The sub-components are not door families. This is hack, so we the end user can have a limited selection for options. We'd be happy to send you one of the families you could check out.

@@EvolveLABio will keep that in mind. Just started Ware Malcomb about a month ago. When I sort out their means and methods may give EL a call :)

Not a strong Revit user...but if this is instance based what happens if you do have hundreds of doors on a job, are you able to easily change them all at once?

Safinjr, you can say "select all instances" if you want to change all at once. It's a balance, but our hope is that it minimizes having to have thousands of types.

Now do it with windows...selectable window styles, grid styles, exterior/interior trims. I have exterior styles A thru T, and 3 or 4 grid styles...all selectable in Properties. If you made it "professional" I'd buy it in a minute! Bundle it with doors and I'd buy it in 30 seconds! For a small design firm the price is quite high at $995. Maybe $750 each, or bundle doors and windows for $1,000.

Great comments and feedback! Thanks so much. We actually do have a window library built with the same format/structure per your comment/request - www.evolvelab.io/product-page/window-library
Thanks for the feedback on pricing. We will seriously consider it.

Shane, thanks for the feedback. We have spent an immense amount of energy for custom-ability for these families, and are always trying to find the right balance of what is affordable for a firm.

You can always build your own nested families and door families :) from experience this is a minimum of about 60 hours of you have done it before, or double that if you haven't... But it is possible. If a FTE cost $35/hrx120h = ¢4,200. Guess it all depends on what you have time for :)
