Brother I have a query. Eg: if i land in UK tomorrow can i apply for provisional driving license in a week? Or do I have to wait for some time to apply for it? In some videos people are saying that you need to spend atleast 6 months in uk only then you are eligible to apply. Is this true?
To apply for a provisional driving license in Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales), you must have been given permission to live there for at least 185 days. Once you have your provisional license, you can book and take your theory test. However, for the practical driving test, you must have lived in England, Scotland, or Wales for at least 185 days within the last 12 months before the day of your test. After passing your theory test, you will need to wait at least 6 months from the day you entered the UK before booking your practical test. During this time, you can take driving lessons to prepare.
