Carly never married the conductor.
Wow, four years ago. I recall Andrea Bocelli was stunned when she just started singing opera in Italian in a get together, his reaction was a meaningful wow. When you get that reaction from this man, no award can equal that response, you have arrived. Funny, I just completed this comment and that clip was included.
I'm from Québec, French province of Canada. I remember that season 5, specially Katharine that made a strong impression. Supertalented, likable like no one and sooo beautiful! I could easily fall in love for her. I watched the tv series "Scorpion" and she's good actress too. I hope that her life is going the way she want it. I adore her

I watched the entire season. Katharine had me from her first audition and put me over the top with "Over The Rainbow". How is it that she finished second to a second rate Elvis wannabe, Taylor Hicks. SMH
She was in Whitney and Mariah's league from the start. No doubt Simon thought she should have won. Rod Stewart and Andrea Bocelli were very impressed with her, love their reaction.

I just realized that she is the same Katharine McPhee who is the wife of David Foster, the 17 Grammy award-winning music composer and producer. What a beautiful face and a singing voice that has so many octaves of range. A true and super polished of an entertainer. David is lucky to have her as his wife.

I liked her on Scorpion, I never knew she was on American Idol. Before my wife died we never watched AI. So this is all new to me this year. Same goes for AGT, I never watched it until this year. My wife was very jealous so I didn't get to see a lot of stuff. Being able to finally see what I missed is like the world opening up for me. I really missed a lot. I feel like a new person.
