As a Goodra main myself, this is definitely a veteran player.
1. Fighting from back. Goodra does great with front fighting, especially with Dragon Pulse. It can either combat with melee or be a stall in bushes or heal. They didn’t do either of those.
2. Not being in team fights. Goodra wants to be in team fights, to be a Great Wall for its allies. And since the match was filled with attackers, it was extra important to be bulky and defensive. Instead they did the opposite.
3. Stacking. - Goodra had spoon, muscle, rapid. And in the first match, abandoned its team to stack. There was no purpose. Stacking items are useful for Goodra, but they weren’t using those, nullifying the point.
4. Forcing fights. Goodra can’t really approach enemies, or it gets CC chained. And since it missed a lot of whips, I don’t think they should be approaching the enemies first.
Also seemed like they were consistently using Dragon Pulse to engage when they had full hp, and then not having it back up in time when they actually needed the healing.
The wigglytuff beefing magnemite was the best part of the video 😂

The best part about this series is how BAD some of these players are. Even worse than the person claiming to deserve masters. Shoutouts to the DeepthroaU and Prololpro for trying their absolute best to carry their team to victory. Everyone else on that participated on orange team either round doesn't deserve masters in the slightest for how bad they played except the veteran player. Funnily enough, the veteran player was never the worst in either match and while I don't think they deserve masters right now, they will definitely earn it once they get more familiar with the game and how some of the pokemon work
That Goodra overestimated their skill.

Getting to Masters in Unite only marks the end of your rookie phase of the season. The grind to 1600 is the real start of your season.

they kinda have no idea how to team fight or is familiar with the move sets or passive of the pokemon they chose. It's crazy how many players are delusional into thinking they deserve masters. I think the bot matches is part of the problem because I see quite a few streamers brag about getting penta kills in ranked matches and not realizing they're playing against bots. The bot matches inflate alot of players egos

In that t tars defense his true damage doesn't activate until he uses his sandtomb move... It was impossible to stop the score unless he were ancient power cause he could have tapped the move instant true damage
These have got to be like scripted or something right? Its literally impossible to be hardstuck in any rank other then ultra+. Like you play AI for like 1/2 ur matches under ultra and if you play a character that can auto attack you can probably climb anyways. The game is also insanely forgiving if you are down on exp. Finally, if you are trying to solo Q climb to masters on a pure healing support then ur doing this to urself tbh.
in Veteran you don't get bots at all, more like Ultra players almost always, and the game punishes you for being skilled so depends on the player ig
