Bro! Great Job!! Do you realize you are like the only guy on the entire Internet to show us if these LSG units with the off road package have a steerable front end?? And the angle/turn radius... nice work!!
Thank you for watching- you are going to enjoy it. I highly recommend getting mineral oil and wiping it down - especially the firebox and underside of cooking chamber before each cook- this will help prevent rust
I was sure you were in trouble when I saw that way the pallet was put between the trailer and the big offset. You've solution for getting the pallet turned was just plain brilliant. I wanted to watch this video because I have an LSG cooker coming with the offroad package and needed to see what to expect. It's really nice to see someone as competent as you.
Thank you for watching. A lot of times I just jump into things without thinking them through then I have to figure out how to overcome my stupidity. Haha. I wanted to be careful on how I dismantled the crate because I wanted to turn it into a firewood storage rack- which actually turned out better than I thought it would.
I had a Dream. It came thru Lois in my dream I seen you receiving Lsg 20x42 offroad package. Nice Review your the first review we're you showed air flow from firebox side and inside chamber. Now I have full understanding how that works. Very Nice Congratulations looking forward to your creativity on this pit.
Nice review of an awesome smoker. The interesting cut out for smoke to enter the cooker, is actually a venturi. It causes smoke already in the cook chamber to be drawn into the bottom of the venturi, creating circulation. Not sure if it actually works but that’s the theory.
Thank you for watching. I take full responsibility for not watching Lonestar’s video before ordering this smoker. I have to say it works very well. Thank you for explaining it.
Very nice pit Louis! I used a sawzall with a metal blade and striped down the crate on my Santa Maria in about 5 minutes. LSG are beasts for sure!! HAve fun with that Pit!!
Louis thanks for this. I too am in line for a lone star grill. Luckily I stay within 30 miles of Willis, Tx. Chris the owner who was super informative and helpful btw, told me I was looking at 17 weeks. I paid him right then and told him "well put me in line then". I am getting the 24x40 with the offroad, door counter weight, fire management basket, 1 1/4" brass ball valve drain, folding table, extra temp guage, ash rake, grilling mat, kinda went crazy on the addons. I was wondering what the process would be like. Because I live so close, Chris discouraged me from getting the crating and to just come pick it up. I purchased in late February and am hoping late June / early July it will be here. I can't wait.
Thank you for watching. You are going to love your smoker. And with all the add ins it’s going to be a beautiful thing sitting there. Might need help getting it up in a trailer but with the off-road package- you should be able to move it around by yourself.
You know what's funny, looking at one of your other videos, I have a Rectec 700 as well. Great minds think alike. Love this grill. I hope I still remember it when the LSG arrives. Great videos.
Thank you for watching. I have thought about that myself but they are far enough away that I don’t see it as an issue as long as you are aware of them when using the fire box as a sear station or the flat plate. My other concern was me tripping over the tires but with the shelf up - you really don’t notice them.
Congrats on your purchase Louis. I love the looks of the off-road package. I’m looking forward to seeing what you cook on it first. Great looking smoker…
I’m jealous Louis. That looks like a sweet cooker. Wish I was there to help put it together. Every time I watch your channel it costs me money lol. Congratulations brother!
Thank you for watching. I debated a long time between a cabinet smoker and this offset- I do want to get a nice insulated vertical- leaning towards a Humphrey’s.
Happy for you on the new smoker. Yuppers, I knew right away you had the crate pointed the wrong way. And I love the off road wheels on my IVS and your right, it's not as easily maneuvered as one might think. Yours isn't as top heavy as mine at 6' 3". I had to build ramps to get it down off the crate base. Plus my unit weights 1,200 lb. Really looking forward to seeing your first cook. Fyi, I found a high security cable lock to help keep it from " walking " away if you know what I mean. Just ran the cable through the wholesale in the mags. Works beautifully. Enjoy the new cooker and have a great day. 😃👍🌤🍻

Awesome man
Thank you for watching
My LSG 20x42 is on the truck today. So I am watching with excitement and keen interest!

Thank you I will do that👍
Nice, just got my Lone Star Grill
Thank you for watching- which one did you go with? I had a hard time deciding between the one I got or a cabinet style.
Great looking smoker....can’t wait to see the cooks....lonestargrillz is a great co.
Thank you for watching. I am impressed with how solid this smoker feels

@@LouisatRshackBBQ 😂. I’m sure I wouldn’t have. Because like you, I would have know it would be awesome.

Thank you for watching. I should have busted out the sawzall. I have an idea on what to do with the crating pieces.

Any concern of the wheels too close to the firebox eat with higher temp cooks? Has that been an issue at all?

Nowadays the crate is just as valuable as the grill....with the price of wood nowadays.
Thank you for watching. I know - I just couldn’t dispose of the crate - I have plans for it
Congrats on your purchase Louis. I love the looks of the off-road package. I’m looking forward to seeing what you cook on it first. Great looking smoker…
Thank you for watching- she is a gorgeous smoker
Very nice smoker Louis! Congrats buddy!🤘
what is the weight on that bad boy?
I’m jealous Louis. That looks like a sweet cooker. Wish I was there to help put it together. Every time I watch your channel it costs me money lol. Congratulations brother!
Oh good I was thinking you didnt have enough grills yet. Is that a grill or an ATV? Those wheels are sick. That was fun to watch. Congrats.
Thank you for watching. Might see if I can find a set of wheels for a weber
Too pretty to use Louis! Congratulations! Did you tell the wife yet ??? LOL
Nice! 👍 \🔥/
