If the cloud-step technique was implemented, his recovery would be unmatched, if not broken to those that have mastered it. Needless to say, it would be amazing to see The Messenger in a fan game
@@jackie6tnein973 I mean, it's dependent on enemies or projectiles. Given that the Messenger requires the enemy to do it; it wouldn't be that different from Byleth's recovery (except instead of upward, it would be forward). OP if the enemy moves into a certain position, but countered if you just don't try to spike them or shoot projectiles.
Basically, the Messenger would encourage you wait on stage, rather then attempt to edge guard him. Once he lands; you'd be free to attack and not worry. In addition, if Cloud-Step was implemented, you can predict his first two jumps likely wouldn't be too good or at least average, though his second jump, much like Peach might have a float effect thanks to his glider; which would give him good horizontal recovery, but he'd be reliant on his opponent to gain vertical height. At that point, you've no one to blame but yourself if he recovers.
This has got to be one of the best remixes/covers of this track, this is amazing!
