Dude! Awesome video, just popped into my feed. Glad I found your channel. Thanks for sharing your process and being so thorough with the conversation between client / composer. I love hearing the intentions behind a composer’s music, and how the back-and-forth evolves the music over the course of the project.

This is a pretty neat little deal, Kai!
PS - I've been doing my own little RUclips videos to get some of these creative juices out while everything is semi-stalled these last few months. It's been a super fun exercise.

Seems like a way of making music that has some quite unique challenges. Thanks for sharing :) I’m sure videos about how tv post production works and some of the challenges and differences there would do well if you can make a good title and thumbnail :)
Edit: also watching on mobile the music felt mixed a little low in this one, not an easy balance to hit for sure but just mentioning :)

Thank you for giving it a watch! I totally agree about the audio levels, I'm going to see if I can record the music on separate channels next time so I can dial it in better

Loved the way you broke down all the challenges that come when producing for someone. Seems really fun though and the reward in the end is what matters! Do you teach theory/MIDI composition by chance? Nice video!

Much appreciated!!! Tbh I don't have much of a formal music theory background, but I do have some composition strategies and principles that work for me (and that seem pretty similar to what a friend of mine who actually went to music school learned) so I can definitely do a video on that! Thanks for the idea!
