heard Piece of Me in an Oreo commercial & thought it was an old gem of a song that I somehow missed out on when I was young bur SURPRISE! It's actually new. She has a great voice & the arrangement sound vintage. Fantastic song. I'm listening to this album & loving it. I will be searching for the story behind this artist. A young singer that sounds like she has years of experience in her voice. The last person that gave me that feeling was Amy Winehouse.
around 2019 or so I was gifted her Queen Alone album ~ What a talent... this record's sound is epic and sounds like an album that you would have expected to be released in the great soul-funk era of like '71-73. Big Crown Records seems like a fitting label for this amazing queen! She's in some fantastically talented company with her label mates.
