Hey guys, really enjoyed your review of both guitars. I'm seriuosly thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these, which one would be better? TIA for giving some advice.
You have so many nice guitars...so to say this is your favorite is saying a lot. As far as a single cut goes, I'd say this one takes the cake along with the Schecter Solo 6 Custom which comes with an EBMM compensated nut. And if I'm not mistaken, these are Alex's custom Duncan pickups...tweaked JB and 59 setup (you can find the set in the Duncan Custom Shop). For me...the guitars I'd love to have...this one, a Tremonti, Fender Jim Root Tele, Jackson Mark Morton Dominion, EBMM Majesty (first gen), ESP/LTD Phoenix 1000, Charvel DeMartini. I'd love for you to review the Jackson Mark Morton Dominion and compare it to the Alex Skolnick guitar. As far as pickups go...Alex's and those Dimarzio Dominions are my favorite. The Dominion is chambered and has some better ergonomic features. I don't know how I'd get along without a tummy cut. But if I wanted one guitar fixed bridge...and pretty much the same tone but with the ability to do dive bombs...this is probably it. What about your EBMM guitars...such nice guitars and build quality...but you like this one the best? Cheers!
Hi Hussam,Yes,easily if not a lil closer to 11,a very substantial and heavy Guitar indeed,beautifully made,solidly built and full thickness,l prefer it even more than the Blue one which is lighter again because of the Floyd routing. I own 15 LTDs and this is my favourite of them all,you'll love it!
Absolutely love that aqua burst. I've been looking at an EC1000 with Seymour Duncans in vintage black but I've just discovered that aqua burst which seems to be the same spec but with a FR, on a short scale neck and what a beautiful finish! Where did you get it cos I can't find anywhere in the UK who sells them?
@@amaurypalmen7968 purchased, love it. Yeah it's a bit more hefty than the standard I'd tried before but I like that! I also play a yamaha sg1820 which feels a tad heftier!
