This is one of a number of things I like about your videos, Melissa. The difference in what an obviously professionally-trained jeweler does and what a zillion other people posting videos on RUclips and/or teaching at the various shows and so on do is obvious - and much appreciated. Those "added little touches" are a big part of what distinguish professional work from the rest of the pack.
I knew how to make to make those findings but not with the findings that you show from your years of experience. Thank you and looking forward for your next show.
Thank you so much for this tutorial, you are so right about that added extra to the finish piece. I like them all especially using the 20gauge will and the tip on smoothing out those little dents. I will have to try that on aluminum which is so soft. I have a bracelet that I made a while ago and I have had a very hard time trying to find clasp because of the design but you have get me back, thanks again and looking forward to see what's next!!!!!!
(under my Sweetie's mantle) Your content and delivery Ms Melissa are exceptional. Pacing and explanation are unparalleled, thank you for educating us in such a gentle and accessible way. There is no ego or personality delivered, only pure content that is challenging for others to achieve. I am so thankful to have found. I bookmarked you leading with the word EXCELLENT. ~A fellow creator, Dev
Hi Melissa, Thank you for this video. You are a great teacher. I was wondering if you might be able to make a video about how to bend and work with triangular wire, especially the thicker kind. It is very hard to work with and I can’t find any advice anywhere on how to bend or form without it getting completely barred and ruined. Thank you so much for your consideration
Great! I tried with point eight brass, smaller, still great! Thank you so much, I have a whole lot of beads pieces almpst ready, waiting for appropriate clasps - now I know how to finish those, thanks to you
I think that may have to be another video. LOL. But you can soak it in white vinegar for a bit. After washing and drying it, you should apply a thin coat of oil to keep it from rusting again.

That is such a wonderful compliment. Thank you so much.
Thank you Melissa. I would love to see how to finish a leather cord nicely. If that's something you;'re thinking about sometime that is.
Thanks Debbie, I will see about doing a video on that.
Love your tutorials! would like to know the length you cut for each type of hook.. thank you for your wonderful videos
The size depends on what you are doing. The gauges will also have an effect on the desired sizes.

I will see what I can do. I don’t have any thick triangle wire at the moment. But I will see about adding some to my next order.
Thank you so much Melissa. You make it look very interesting and encouraging !
Thank you so much!

John Cook thank you
I’m in the Northeast. Are you ever at Beadfest in PA?
How do you clean the rust from your file?

Sure would save money making these clasps & eye pins
Yes and then you also have a personalized look that people know were made by hand
What about using emery brourd to sand the end of the wires
Yes. That works also. Sometimes just not as fast
I keep watching you flush cut that 14 ga, and I have to know which cutters you use, please?
They are my Tronex cutters. I absolutely love them. www.micro-tools.com/products/copy-of-oval-head-cutters-heavy-duty?variant=31846782009411?aff=8
