Thank you for making this video! Nyepi is a sacred day for balinese hindus and is an overall good thing to experience for yourself. Sometimes ppl just need to really reflect and ask themselves the important questions, we can get overwhelmed with work or life that we tend to neglect ourselves. Bali holds this day very dearly as it is a reflection of themselves as a people, a society, how they see the world and themselves.
Very interesting, also the wiki info posted below the video. You are right we should all take time to reflect on our path. To make sure we are still on our path and not someone else's. Keep on living the Life.

So I've got a Wife and Kid and we end up there on Nyepi this year 2020. It's a tough decision to stay or to flee to a neighboring island or Singapore for a few days. While I think I can handle it, I'm not so sure that with a 10 year old kid if it's the best idea to be apart of the vacation or not. How about the days preceding, are things open as usual, or do they close as well as people I assume leave to visit family. It's a beautiful holiday and seems like a great experience but still.....Hmmm decisions decisions!
Try staying longer when the holidays are quiet in Bali you will feel how the meaning of life really is. The meaning of Nyepi is that we surrender to the creator. all the pleasures in this world, the glitter of the world is merely a decoration. welcome to my citymm 💓💓💓💓
