Went to YN School there from November 78 until January 1979.

I know where this is. This is near the galley. I was over on the Navy side in 2002. I remember the bowling alley with the movie theater in it.
I was there in 2005. It was cold
Slightly different than it was in 1984.
I was there in 2011. Looks just about the same but a bit better. Don’t miss those spiders and snakes though lol

Man make sure you study and pay attention
My advice is don't have any drama with a girl or/and with your family or you will fail and be stuck there forever. That's what happened to me. Stuck there for 5 months

The gym was cool but because of covid they only allow like 20 ppl at a time so as soon as liberty starts you got to get over there. The food was actually alright to 👌🏾definitely a lot better than here lol

Yea I’m about to get my grub on down there lol. Just subbed to your channel bro, look forward to seeing more Navy content! One last question, I saw your other video of you getting your orders in Hawaii, was that randomly assigned to you or did you pick it? I’m reading 2 things on getting orders; 1. Orders are already assigned to you in boot camp 2. You get a “dream sheet” in A School and fill out your 3 duty stations. Ik at the end of the day it just comes down to the needs of the Navy
@@davidcardenas3315 yeah hopefully they bring off base liberty back because ppl say that was dope. I definitely have more navy content coming soon. So in boot camp some of the rates had the chance to fill out a dream sheet but not all of them. I did, and Hawaii was number 4 on my list. Tbh I feel like I just got lucky because it’s definitely the needs of the navy first.
@@TheReeves23 Yea it’d be cool to check out Meridian even though from what I’ve read there ain’t much to do out there lol. Damn the luck of the draw huh lol that’s dope tho you got Hawaii as your first duty station and yeah I’d surprised too lol, but man hopefully as a YN I can do the same. But I guess wherever you get stationed at you gotta make the best of it. Appreciate it man!

Hey yes I did! Not everyone does though. It depends on if you have a long A-school or C-School afterwards.

Nah it’s not hard at all. I just recorded a video about A-school so be on the lookout for it soon! It’s not nearly as strict as boot camp. You can actually enjoy yourself in A-school
