I love how the opressive environment of NK didn't seem to win over Nara's vibrant, chatty, and open personality. It's so awesome. Keep being the bright and expressive sunshine that you are Nara!
Actually she mentioned in a video on Drew Binsky’s channel that she comes from quite a well to do family, which was also the reason why she managed to escape NK much easily than others.
She was like a 0.1 percenter from Pyongyang but great to see that personality nonetheless.

Really appreciate these North Korean vids. It's almost impossible to find out about North Korean daily life in english. The only news that we get is always fear mongering stuff about missiles and labour camps.
We honestly all need a entire massive series of episodes dedicated to these videos!! I’ve learnt so much about North Korean culture that I literally never would have even thought about or considered 😮

All these videos with Nara are really interesting and insightful. It's great to have that kind of perspective of North Korean culture, as many of us wouldn't know about that otherwise.

It's more like she's middle class. The actual rich/elite would be those with high positions in the military or government like Kim Jong Un's family.

Maybe this is a sensitive topic.. but I would like to hear about the levels of government in NK. How they work, why/when the current family of leaders came into power, which parts of the government are seemingly just for show/puppets, etc.
Also interested in the different foods north Koreans have. Different celebrations(do north Koreans also get 1 year older on January 1st?)

예를들어 손전화가 없으면 데이트 못한다고 했는데 없는 사람들이 더 많을텐데 그분들은 어떻게 데이트하는지 궁금합니다
그리고 남자들 군복무 기간이 10년인걸로 아는데 그러면 대부분 남자들은 다 서른이 넘어야 하지 않나요?
