Incredible! I was just watching your other videos and this wonderful update appeared. I just connected an old TV for the first time following your instructions. I'm excited. I know it's very simple, but for those of us who are just starting out with light shows, each step is a challenge. Huge and infinite thanks. Without your help it would have been much more difficult. Greetings from Spain.
Great video Have a question what is running on the Pi that is sending the video to the screen, etc.. I have a Pi setup to run FPP and it has a top-hat that is a driver (RPi-28D+), I plan on using a 2nd Pi for the video because it will be little ways from this one. will v the 2nd Pi (one connected to the screen) be running a native Pi OS or will it also have FPP on it and where will the video be loaded on this one or will be load on the one that is running FPP with the top-hat. Thanks for all your videos very helpful
Maybe I'm getting confused on the size of the virtual matrix. Im using an a regular TV that is 1920x1080 and then I set the same in XLights for the virtual matrix? If I set it to lower.. wont the video be little tiny on my big monitor?
Very well done! Got mine working after watching this video just twice! Thank You!!
