They definitely made this part perfectly. No issues at all.Seen other videos where they had to make modifications to the bolt holes on other brands of relocation brackets.
Think I may just try and make my own this weekend if that's all they consist of. Grab some great 8 bolts to use plus I have some 1/4 inch steal plate left over. Think I'll just use that....
Thanks this answered all the questions I had I just ordered the Speed engineering true dual kit the exhaust comes in tomorrow but panhard wont arrive till sunday/monday At least I can install the exhaust this weekend leave it on ramps and install panhard Monday.
Hey thanks for watching.I was just able to get the car out a few days ago.The weather here hasn't been great and seems like everyday that I have off it rains.Probably be a few weeks before I get some performance numbers but I will warn you it isn't very fast.It was a bit of a slow car when I got it.It will probably only run a high 12 seconds 1/4 mile. But later in the summer will be installing gears which I hope will help it out.Again thanks for watching we really appreciate it.
Appreciate the video planning on getting umi rear lower control arms panhard bar and the relocation bracket. Was looking for a video for the Panhard bar relocation bracket video thx
My question is what’s the name of the bar over the panhard bar? There’s two bars the lower one and upper one and my lower one literally snapped so I want to replace but idk what to look for. They clearly look different ?
I've been watching a lot of your videos lately. I recently acquired a 2002 Formula and would love a true dual set up. Did you get this panhard relocation kit from a Cdn supplier?...or did you get it shipped up from the US?
I get most of my parts from Summit Racing because it is usually cheaper than buying from a Canadian retailer and much faster.Thats where I got the panhard bar relocation. The dual exhaust came from speed engineering which they don't ship to Canada from their website you have to order from their eBay store which is expensive and slow but it was still cheaper than their competitors dual exhaust.I believe I had a little over $900 in the exhaust system and that is Canadian money. Thanks for watching and commenting we really appreciate it.
What exhaust setup? I have TSP3 inch long tubes but want something that’ll run with all the UMI stuff but still run the path over the axle of the stock exhaust.
Well I have the speed engineering true dual exhaust. With the UMI panhard bar relocation kit it works. But I used to also have a drive shaft safety loop which I had to remove because it would not clear the dual exhaust without modifications which I still haven't gotten around too.So the dual exhaust can cause issues. There is a few single 4" systems out there 1 is made by Mufflex.Of course if you want the best fit there are dozens of single 3" systems that follow the exact path of the stock exhaust.
@@LSxMotorsports2021 my car essentially has the full UMI catalog. So driveshaft look has to go if I want to run a stock style exhaust. Trying to tuck the pipes up since my ground clearance really sucks.
If ground clearance is your goal a single 3" system is the way to go for sure. There are many to choose from at many price points.I always recommended the SLP loud mouth 2 because of its lower price but it is rather loud.Good luck on your new exhaust and thanks for watching and commenting we really appreciate It.
How did you get the bolts out from the back side, to remove the stock panhard bar and rod? can't get to the bolt heads because the strut coil is in my way.
Well I don't remember having a problem. But if the rear spring coil is getting in the way you could jack up the car to extend the coil so the bolt slips out between one of the coils. If that doesn't work then disconnect the shock and allow the rear axle to drop all the way and the whole coil can be removed. But remember safety first never get under a car without it being supported safely.
@@LSxMotorsports2021 I won't get under it with regular jack stands lol even a floor jack. I jack it up and set it up on 4 spare tires, 2 under the front tires and 2 under the back, that way you don't ever have to worry about it falling off on you lol
Hey man many muffler shops near me say I can't install a true dual exhaust because of the lack of space and one guy said he'll do it for 650 will it be a clearance issue.
They are trying to rip you off. What he is putting on in this video is what you need. You can also use a panhard bar from Founders Performance. Speed Engineering true duals will fit, no issues. I put the exhaust system on and the founders panhard bar myself and then brought it to the exhaust shop to check for any leaks or fitment issues. It was fine.
@@abbas674 yes, it will fit. I have a Strange Dana 60. But there are plenty of people with 9 inch Ford or GM 12 bolts running the Speed Engineering true duals. Call Speed Engineering if you have any concerns.
Yes the relocation bracket is to clear larger exhaust. If you only need to clear a larger exhaust you can reuse the stock panhard bar.Mine has the aftermarket panhard bar and the relocation bracket. But yes they are sold separately.
I love UMI suspension parts

Yes they are different. The lower one is the panhard bar. The upper is the panhard brace.

Do you have any issues with rubbing on the relocation bar?
No issues so far. Also my car is stock height. If your car is lowered it is hard to say if there would be clearance problems or not.
My car is lowered and no clearance issues, or rubbing.
Thanks for watching and answering this question.
I’m considering a Panhard bar but would it really make a difference at Stock height ?
Honestly I didn't notice any difference but it is more for handling modification and I only ever drive fast in a straight line.
So you have to buy the relocation kit and a pan hard bar separately?

Both the panhard bar and the relocation bracket are made by UMI performance and I purchased them both from Summit Racing.
