I love reviewing little properties like this one. The TN Mountain Lodge is a classic mom and pop motel. A little rough around the edges, but overall my room was clean and comfortable. Overall, not a bad place to stay on a budget in the Pigeon Forge area.

Very nice vintage motel. I am very particular about lodging, but I’d stay there, and you can’t beat that price for a clean room!
It’s so unusual to see “maid” these days, and I guess that’s a throwback to the era of the place.
Only thing missing is a bottle opener.
It’s not bad for an older motel.The price isn’t bad.I always carry disinfectant wipes so I would have cleaned out the fridge myself.The bed looks pretty comfortable and I like how they left out a Bible for people to read.I usually take my own but there were a couple times I forgot to pack it.I like the fact it’s quiet except for car noises.All in all I think you picked a nice place.Thanks for showing us.And enjoy your time there.❤️
Have an aunt that lives in Pigeon Forge. Usually stay at TML when visiting her (and the area in general) Nice motel for a good price.
Love it. Has character! I'd give the fridge a quick wipe with loo roll and I'd be fine with that.
It's darker so as not to show up any dirt. Many motels hotels do it.

I rented condominium in Pigeon Forge,2 bedroom 2 bathrooms. 6 nights for 1,300.Sleep to 7 people.I feeling very constable.So beautiful.
If you ever have the chance to go back to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, I would love to see you do a cabin/chalet review. Whenever I go to the Smokies, I love to stay in a cabin! They're so cozy and have that "mountain" feel. I love your hotel/travel reviews btw! Subbed! :)
We stay there every time we go to Pigeon Forge. They are the nicest people I have ever met. We are usually in the room to sleep and spend rest of the day out and about.
Speaking of wood paneling our house was in built in 1973 the house was 12 years old back in 1985
When my parents bought this house my cousins and I are planning on renovating it down the road
Thank you for doing this review. I've been wondering about this place. I always take my own pillow and blanket with me......along with soaps and shampoo. Looks like we might have to start carrying a few bright light bulbs with us too (just don't forget to take them when you leave). So this place would meet my inspection. Particularly like the seclusion on the back side facing the river. I'd stay here in a heartbeat!
I will be staying there for Valentine's weekend. Your review made me feel better about the place. Always nervous on new hotels.

Hey Jacob, when you get a chance, can you do an updated house tour?
This room definitely has some character to it. From the old school security to the wood paneling (now all we need is a pet rock). One good thing, at least they didn't put a throw pillow on the bed. Still, for the price you paid, this is a pretty solid room.

The motel next door is the same way, clean and dated, just a bit more expensive though.
For someone like me who lives in my car in Florida this hotel may be my next place I’ll be staying January 7th y’all complain over little thing smh so far this video is making happy so far I love this place for someone who is on a low income stop complaining
Honestly this place doesn’t look bad but I still wouldn’t stay at one of these small motels. This place is still a bit run down and not super nice inside or outside. It looks like they bought used furniture from hotels.
I've been staying at this hotel before I could walk. It has had its ups and downs in terms of cleanliness and maintenance over the years. I will say that the past year or so is the best I've seen it. The property went under refurbishment not too long ago. All new mattresses, new TVs, the desk area was added (used to be a table and chairs), carpet was redone, walls painted etc. The owners are a local older couple and as of late the owner has been very sick. His children now mostly take care of the property, and I think they are doing a great job at it. It's one of the best budget hotels in Pigeon Forge and you can't beat its proximity to the Old Mill.
my ears may have been deceiving me, but thought there was a constant drone from road noise. still not a bad place for the price.

I just would not even care about the maintenance and cleanliness, except for the fridge. I used to see issues like this all the time, so it's not too repelling for me. There's even a part of me that likes dated stuff like this. The wallpaper gave me an idea of being in a tree house or similar.
This is really fun thank you you should do more hotel twice like this and like it thank you so much
Wood paneling ahoy! Actually the aqua bathroom tile is much worse. With a bathroom upgrade it wouldn’t be bad for a cheap price. As always, great tour!
Really old school looking hotel room
I was in pidgeon Forge between december 28 and January 1st with my parents we stayed in a cabin they do alot of cabin rentals down that way,we booked through a place called cabins for you it wasn't bad

Hey while in town look up Holstons Kitchen and in Gatlinburg a place called Greenbriar restaurant ! Unbelievable great food.
I love this area! Looks like a decent place if you want to spend less money on a place to sleep. Because let’s face it , most of the time you’re out doing stuff anyway.
I rent cabins usually up in Gatlinburg because I usually have a large group of people with me. And I also need quiet time away from the roads. But one time I was in one of the cabins and I stepped on a scorpion. Felt like someone had put a staple through my foot. I thought I was going to die. Stupid me forgot to read the guest book upstairs that tells you about the bugs and wildlife in the area that may crawl into the cabin. Meanwhile I’m crying my eyes out thinking I’m going to die and my boyfriend is one the phone calling 911 . They told him by the time that they would get to the cabin , I would be dead , and the scorpion probably isn’t poisonous. So there’s no point in coming out. So he told them what it looked like and had already pulled its little legs off. (I felt sorry for it).
Meanwhile I was downstairs in the bathroom thinking “well if I’m gonna die I might as well do my nails”. My foots still swelling to the size of a grapefruit. The boyfriend comes running downstairs saying I’m gonna be ok , and the scorpion is in pieces. Moral of the story is , watch where you’re walking and wear shoes at all times!
Question Jacob: when you go to hotels (which I know you do a lot), do you use the complementary bar soap and shampoo they give you, or do you bring your own?

Nice review, glad it’s clean even though it looks like the Brady bunch lived there.... I wouldn’t stay here though just because the bible was left out and open. Wow pushy. It’s one thing for it to be in a drawer but I don’t want someone’s religious stuff put in my face. That’s just rude to all other cultures and beliefs
