      Next step is the second pass, which is where mistakes get fixed, and detail/subtlety becomes more developed :)

    really good tutorial - any thoughts on just using terps to clean the brushes? - I never considered detergent and water (is it washing up liquid you use?)

      Thanks! I prefer to clean brushes by first using mineral spirits, and then washing with warm water and Ivory soap. I have a video tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/3S20qtUwB4U/видео.html
      I think leaving residual turps on the bristles might be harsh on them. There are many ways to clean brushes but this method has worked for me, and I continue to use brushes that are several years old but still in good condition.
