There's a bit of stuff that you have incorrect in this.
Jennette was not evil, nor did she plan what happened to Athanasia. Jennette's aunt Rosalia is the one who poisoned her, in the hopes of ensuring that Jennette becomes crown princess, and eventually Empress. Jennette even suffered extreme guilt over Athanasia's death.
And Claude, he knew that Jennette was not his daughter, he just accepted her because her personality melted his heart. She genuinely believes that she is Claude's daughter, and she had a good relationship with Athy in the last timeline too.

Claude's part is right in part, since what made him like Jennette wasn't because she melted his heart, but because she was made of black magic, which lessened some of the headaches caused by black magic that he used it to erase his memories with Diana.
Now Jennette is wrong. There is a side story where Athanasia is sent to her first life, which shows Jennette's true personality. She knew she wasn't Claude's daughter, she did a lot of bad things to Athanasia, and she was the one who helped her aunt so that the plan to kill Athanadia was successful.
