Thanks for doing that one. I’m aiming to see Eivør live in London later this year. She signed to a new record label last year so I am half expecting a new album from her very soon, and to hear material from that when I see her.

The fantastic thing is she changes her approach to the songs, and they are never exactly the same.

When I first heard this intense dramatic version of her song, I was just like wow. The people who heard IVOR? Before this awesome reaction. Those people were like wait for it? Wait for it?…
She’s just the coolest. She is a PRPRPRPRPRO. The most talented woman on earth is the most amazing and most beautiful person I ever knew to have ever sing in her entire life. 9:58

You NEED to start watching Vikings man. It’s utterly enthralling, and beautifully presented. Can’t recommend it enough.

Trollabundin = "spellbound".... Eivor Palsdottir is from the Faroe Islands, near Iceland I believe.....she is a traditional "folk" artist, focusing on songs that recall a Norse tradition, but can sing from any genre...she performs in multiple languages, but her native Faroese is beautiful to hear....check out any version of her "Falling Free" and her duet with Einar Selvik of Wardruna performing "Helvegen".......

i can highly reccomend to see her live, her vocal power is limitless. last time i have seen her live she had a support band called tvinna. not a bad band at all, but when eivor started to sing i had the impression that tvinna had their microphones switched off. and she doesn't show any signs of exhaustment at all. never.
