My Jeep has been sitting in the parking lot for over two months now. I had a mechanic come over and he said it is compression issues with cylinder 4 and 6. Do I need to get a new vehicle or could this be fixed?

Did he do a compression test ? If he just diagnosed by sound you should ask him to do an actual compression test.
But if you indeed have low compression it will either be piston rings or valves that need to be reseated or replaced, so it will cost at least 2000$ and 4000 at worst.

@Mikes Garage Hi, I need some advice. My 2000 Mazda Protege recently was tested to have low compression on cylinder 4. It only has 130psi and the other 3 cylinders are at 140psi. How long can I continue to drive this car before it just craps out? I only need to use it for a couple of weeks so I can make some money to buy another car. If anyone else can help me out with suggestions, please comment. Thanks all.

@@franciscocarrero7031 that's because oil fils in the gap between the piston rings and the cylinder wall. Now if it did not bring compression up, that would mean either a bent intake or exhaust valve or both for that matter.
