This video has earned you my like and sub. I have been looking at a pump almost identical to this from Hygger for at least 1 month on amazon. Constantly hesitating about buying it. I currently run 5 shrimp tanks of 3 different pumps and it makes more mess behind with wires and more things to go wrong. Thank you for the gentle push and I have only just found you on you tube so look forward to watching more of your videos. Ironically I am a ' Mark Shelley aquatics subsciber' who I just noticed in your comments

That's awesome. Been using it for a year without any issues but I highly recommend linear piston pumps for more power and the quietness, the one I use on my rack is the hi blow 40. Alita is another good one to consider

I got a Pondmaster AP40 (40w), thats ran 5 out of the last 6 years and still on first diaphram. Also have an AP100 (100w version) I blew that diaphram in about 2 or 3 years because I was making way way way too much air. Rebuild kits are cheap, and its a bit fiddly but not too bad to rebuild. They're diaphram pumps and not the most quiet, but for the amount of air they make with a little hum is really good. I run most my tanks off water pumps because the bubbles splashing and pushing so much air through the tanks was causing moisure and evaporation issues really bad for me with so many tanks in a small space. But the ap40 takes care of all my needs now. 10 20g longs ran off air alone and an airstone in 8 40g breeders as backup incase powerheads fail (been there done that), but its just nice slow gentle flow, nothing crazy
Rebuilt my ap100 and it runs my outside summer tub stuff now, could probably run 20 100g tubs off that thing lol. My pressure release sounds like an RC jet ducted fan motor lol, its ridiculous air.

Wow that hygger pump is so good! Is 3°c too cold for tiger shrimp? Is it ok to add a heat mat for winter(winter-only)? What foods would you avoid? Is it ok if I feed shrimp as less as possible because of biofilm and algae?

Thanks! I think 3c is a bit too cold. I notice my shrimp eat everything so just mix up a variety, I have over 25 types of food that I just rotate. Feeding less is not an issue as they are scavengers and eat anything. Hope that helps

@@RWAquariumPages thanks for the reply,I will probably only add a heater in December, January and early February. I think if I change a few things for the shrimp they might thrive well because I also want to make a hybrid which is hardy.

@@_invertico_ it might be ok but I like it between 18 to 23 for my shrimp to be honest

@@RWAquariumPages that's how it is mostly here in this German state(lower Saxony) but it can get very hot in summer(35°C+) so maybe a pump or cooler for summer.
