If you find yourself constantly short on wood resources, break ships in half by ramming them. You get a lot more wood this way than you do by boarding them.
On higher levels, I just sell any weapon I get from enemy drops, then use that money to buy wood. You will get way more wood that way than if you just disassembled the enemy gear, as the money the merchants pay you for selling high-level gear scales with your level.
to save you some time the only cultist clue you get from a smith is in korinth. all the others are by quests (main or side) or by killing other cultists. also can't say about "basic" cultists but you can find and kill some sages without uncovering them first ie the sage from the eyes and from the heroes
@@7lukeiamyourfather7 Yeah, she will even say out loud that a cultist clue is nearby. I was utterly confused, after looting all the fortresses in the area and finding nothing. Finally I gave up and just visited the blacksmith... and he was selling it.
I killed that level 50 mercenary who turned out to be a sage in the cult and I was only level 33 I’m 37 now but the only sage I’ve killed so far any tip on finding the others?
@@jaylensmith1757 The easiest way is to just hunt down the cultists in the branch one by one. The eyes of Kosmos is pretty easy to get done especially at your level. Some sages won't be uncovered until certain points in the story but if you look at the cultist page in the menu it will tell you how to find the clues to find them.
TIP: Sparta kick mercenaries when they're on their last strand of health to knock them out and get the option to recruit them - they're always either a legendary or epic memeber
Tip #1 : Dismantle colored items you don't need as u will get a lot more resources and sell items that aren't colored for gold Tip #2 : If you're playing for the first time and are searching for items just use your eagle and it will mark it for you. Once in the cave be sure that you have REVELATION skill and hold down the button to reveal the resources and chest within AoE (Area Of Effect). Tip # 3 : Raid forts at night as everyone is sleeping and set up trap on the lightning beacon to disable for reinforcements. Tip # 4 : Battle in the arena after you reach level 25. You will get huge amount of EXP. Keep repeating. Tip # 5 : Do the side quests because if you ignore them, some of them will not appear again and are gone forever. Tip # 6 : If you have an assassin build for example. Pick up complete assassin gear 5/5 and weapons and engrave critical chances and critical damage into it for massive sneak damage. Same goes for hunter and warrior or if you combine then pick up hunter for bow, assassin for daggers and warrior for swords and heavy weapons and staffs. Tip # 7 : After you reach level 50 it goes up to level 99. After level 50 & 99 is mastery levels so be sure to do DLC's as well and visit every single tomb to get skill points. Once you reach atlantis your skill tree will unlock mastery level for 1 special skill in each tree. Tip # 8 : You can repeat the game as many times as you want Tip #9 : Play it with joystick as i strongly recommend it. Tip #10 : Board quests are infinite and good way of earning EXP, gold and resources Tip #11 : If you hate microtransactions do the Orichalcum quests. Every 7 days 2 quests and every 24h 1 daily quest. Save the ores as you can buy the special gear that isn't available in the world to save money. Special items that you can buy with Orichalcum it also resets every 7 days. You got to have internet connection Duh! Tip #12 : There are also plenty resources in the caves that has gems, obsidian glass and iron metal. So just climb the wall and u will see them glowing. Tip #13 : Before you destroy the supply crate in forts and camps, make sure you loot it first as it will give you wood, tablets and leather and other crafting materials. Tip #14 : If you love history visit Odyssey tour as there you can go in first person look mode with an attack button and you will also learn a lot as history is on point. Answer quiz but don't worry if you have wrong answer. Tip #15 : If you hate breathing meter under water there is a staff of poseidon that has breathing under water ability. Get it, equip it and you can explore the under water caves safe with more time. You also unlock the engraving later in game and just apply it to the weapon of your choice and you won't drown. Tip #16 : Constant pressing the X button (on PS) or A (xbox i think) will cause your character to sprint. Tip #17 : Purple wing horse jumping from high point mountains or hills will not take damage. Tip #18 : After reaching level 20 you will have no falling damage Tip #19 : Pick up olive wood from the trees around the world as well as stones. Tip #20 FINAL TIP : If Gamer Guru is talking too fast just put the play speed to 0.50 or 0.75 :) P.S. Try the player story created mode if you are into community build quests.
@@Void-Realm I was about 250 hours into it myself (and I’ve finished Origins+all the DLC’s), before I read this and found out about it. Definitely been using it since of course.
Ruk us : this comment is a reference to the game (AC:O) and Eminem. If you have played the game, it will tell you that a conquest battle is available because the nation has become vulnerable. In this video Gamer Guru talks really fast (or edited the video to appear that way), and we know that Eminem is sort of like the ‘Rap God.’ So, Eminem is now vulnerable and a rap battle (instead of conquest) is now available. ?did u really need this? I’d understand if u haven’t played the game🙃 so there you go
Another tip: if your struggling beating a legendary animal go on your horse and just run around the battle area shooting arrows at it requires a little patience but saves you dying all the time.
My tip is that when you are running and you call for your horse, you should looks behind you so that it spawns in front of you. This saves you the time of having to wait for your horse to catch up.
I use the "Rush Assassination" ability ALL the time. Once you level it up to 3/3, you can chain assassinate guards (up to 4) really fast and it only uses 1 adrenaline bar. And it fills up within a second or two as long as your not noticed so you can use it again. Works best in the forts where there's MAD guards..
Theres a DLC with a legendary weapon that adds a new perk which will add 1 more chain to it now too, so it can be up to 5 I believe. You may be able to add it to more armor or weapons too, havent checked
Extra tip: upgrading gear wil cost resources. However, upgrading from lvl 30 to 35 is as expensive as upgrading from lvl 5 to 35. So dont upgrade every lvl when you want to keep using your gear. Extra tip: sell your looted gear and buy resources at the blacksmith. If you are in tear 8 in the rankinglist of mercenairies, you get 50% discount when buying recources. Extra tip: when looting chests under water, try and shoot the sharks with your bow while you are stil at the surface.
Early in the game where you need to get the necklace for the vegetable people,I sword fought two of the sharks, jumped up on a column and shot the third one with and arrow.I was surprised that it worked. lol
That's the onision complex. He cutted videos so gross that the end of a sentence fell to the following with the impression of no pause between them. The result is fast speaking. Still don't know what's the benefit of it and it seems to others that the person is a moron
I don't get people here , they always ask for a video that is quick and straight to the point but when they get it they complain about it being too quick , I mean you can simply lower the speed and voila Anyways great video boi
I finally fully beat the game yesterday. I’ve been playing it everyday for a week straight. It was incredible. I definitely wanna say that doing as many synchronization points as possible is probably the biggest tip I could give because this map is MASSIVE and they run you around like a dog
@@Based1889 facial animations XD? If you’re playing the game and you’re looking at the face of your character instead of anything else idk what you’re doing but I think I preceded odyssey simply because it’s set in Greece and you have a ship to conmand
Yeah I spent the first 15 levels just running from point to point and finally realized you could fast travel to them, after that I would go 1000m out of my way to get points cause I figured the devs put them around the map for a reason and that down the line I would need to fast travel to that area
A good tip for everyone who is annoyed by side quests etc. Every time you come across an unofficial camp or cave or pack of animals kill them all. You will have mission complete tags pop up showing you have fulfilled a contract without having to trek to the place to talk to the person wanting it.
Tip: Use Ikaros to spot any sharks in the water. You can then use your bow while in the water on the surface to hit the sharks. They don’t aggro unless diving beneath the surface.
Just a very useful tip: create a loadout for you assassin damage and engrave your highest point armors(in terms of assassin damage) with CRIT CHANCE and CRIT DAMAGE engravements!! Most of the time you can simply assassinate some of the toughest enemies like mercenaries without even fighting then if you get a critical assassination!
I think this is the best tip, an assassin loadout for assassinations, a hunter load out for when using the bow (i have +animal damage on gear) and a warrior loadout for fighting/battles/ when you get caught by guards etc.
@@Astristul never heard of that, I actually stopped playing felt it was way too repetitive and I didn't like the map kinda showing you everything and leading you everywhere, also wasn't a big fan of the enemy levelling. Once you have the Leonides spear up to level 5, reset your abilities to get as many as possible up to level three. Drop any you don’t like or rarely use to get others more favourite levelled fully up. There is a lot of difference between a level 2 Spartan kick and a level three.
Deflect attacks also can deflect arrows. The second wind ability is the most important. Gold is important to buy resources at the blacksmith. Fast travel around blacksmiths to get resources. A tamed bear is pretty useful. Shield breaking ability and a heavy axe or staff are vital in big conquest battles.
Baron Warborn Shield breaking is a MUST. I don’t think I can do much without it since I tend to attack and recruit soldiers or mercenaries stronger than me.
The second wind along with the armor that gives me full health on a death is almost good like, now that I'm above 50, I'm using those points towards health on damage and more health in general. Almost have to not do anything to die now.
I completely forgo all of that and alternate between a flame build and assassin build for such battles. I have enough points in elemental damage that one or two hits can set enemies alight and kill hoplites before they finish burning out. When an enemy captain appears, I just switch to my assassin build, use hero strike (I have enough assassin points to one-shot brute captains thanks to my pirate set), and then switch back to flame build and continue killing ordinary soldiers. Rinse and repeat. Works VERY well on Nightmare. I can clear battles with about a 20% margin of safety for my side.
Always manual save before starting missions (especially main quests) so you could reset whenever certain decisions don't play out the way you want it to.
Regardless of what the sheep say.. I love this game, it's one of my favourite games of all time.. the main story is pretty good, but for me, the contracts and side missions really make the game.. they go from goofy to hilarious to awesome to just fun to play.. it's a great game
The armour thing! Always upgraded the armour that said ^(green arrow) when in reality I was actually downgrading my warrior & hunter stats just to gain +6 armour...
@Shadow Killer1711 Abilities that do assassin damage say they do, abilities that do warrior damage say they do. Attacking an enemy from stealth (Assassinating them) does stealth damage, hitting an enemy after walking up to them in the open does warrior damage.
@Shadow Killer1711 Ares doesn't use assassin damage. The 20% damage buff it gives probably applies to assassin damage, though. It should be obvious which abilities do which types of damage when you look at them on the skill tree.
Does your spartan kick have to be level 3 because any enemy that is a higher level than me if I kick them it stuns them but they dont fly off any cliff
Thanks for the tip because am not strong enough to stealth attack them as am a warrior, but I really want polemarch guys on my ship and the paralyse arrows didn’t seem to work last time even though he was low health
DON'T dismantle anything. Always sell them. You can always buy more supplies you can buy with the money you get from selling items than you get supplies from dismantling items.
I loved the Oil Orgy but i died laughing at the guy that caged himself after the Oracles prediction. The Adoptive dads remarks about the guys real parents was priceless, especially after Kassandra said his Pater really did scream
hardv8 that was much more immersive in my opinion especially with desmond, it made it more enjoyable and interesting in my opinion old assassins creed games with always be the best
@@overnightavenger1470 very true, for me I love the game because it's an ancient greek mythology rpg, and I love greek mythology I've been fascinated by it for a while now. There's nothing there rlly that makes it an ac game apart from parkour and assassinations
The modern day stuff/lore adds flavour to the series, it wouldn't have been the same without it. Besides they're clearly building up to something big one day, I hope we get some actual gameplay for it eventually.
I also test the "main quest needed" limits of any game i play. I got origins and odyssey during the +70% off deal a month or two ago, and i explored every single thing on the map before progressing the story at all. And when i unlocked the entire map, i dedicated my time to getting every synchronization point there is. Occassionally sneaking around the 20+ level higher than me guards to loot stuff. I am pretty sure that sun reflecting thing way down south was not meant to be finished before the first main story in Alexandria.
1. Get the Northern Traveller Set (warrior) and the Ezio set (assassin), for free, from the Ubi Connect store, as rewards and the Bighorn Bow, from the Helix store. You won't need any other armor until the end of the game! A better assassin set would be the Snake set, which you'll also can get for free, by playing the. Wait until you reach level 99 before you kill the 5th member of a cluster cult and use HIGH level scaling. That way, you'll get the entire set upgraded for free, to level 99. And, believe me, it's worth it. Upgrading, even at level 99, is VERY expensive. Especially for legendary parts! 2. Get the Blade of Yumminness as early as you can, using the Blacksmith glitch reload. Even if it will take you 1 day! Trust me, it's sooo worth it! That weapon is a game changer and, most probably, the best weapon from the game! 3. Once you leave Kephallonia and get the Adrestia, reach Athens, meet Perikles and complete the "A friend in need quest". Lie to Heitor so that you'll keep his sword. Now you'll have the 2nd best weapon from the game and you don't need any other weapon to play, from this moment on. 4. Complete Phidias quest line so that you'll get the +30% Armor Penetration engraving, to put on Heitor's Harpe. For the Blade of Y. go for CRIT Damage. From this point on, just explore the map and don't go for any main quests (my Odyssey)! 5. Invest the skill points obtained in sixth sense, second wind, weapons master, gear master, charged heavy attack, shadow assassin, stealth master, death veil, revelation. For masteries go for CRIT Chance in the Hunter & Assassin tabs (full health). 6. Complete all the Aingmata Ostrakas for CRIT Chance & Damage at Full Health perks. Once completed, fully upgrade them at Hephaistos' workshop, in Malis. Look for a cave, in the north, in the mouintains, and go left, in the cave. 7. Bounty-Mercenary-Kill. Rinse and repeat and you'll never run out of resources. Apply this tactic to naval battles as well. Go on top of your ship and snipe all of them, when boarding. And yes, ALWAYS board a ship for better resources! NEVER cleave/sink a ship! 8. Look on the map and if you see a conquest battle available (red & blue flags) search for the leader in that region and kill him. Now go to the conquest battle. This is an easy way to farm good resources. 9. Get Lykourgos, Athena, Charon (Helix Store) and Evie (Ubi Connect reward) as your ship lieutenants. You can keep them in NG+ as well, unlike the ones recruited in the game! And this combination offers you the best attack-defense combo, that Adrestia could get in this game. 10. Enjoy the game! This is the best AC RPG released EVER! Valhalla could never reach its lever!
Everyone probably already knows this but it took me a while to figure out that it’s much more productive to run straight by normal soldiers during a battle and focus on the captains. They aren’t too hard, drastically drop the enemy’s chance of winning, and get the battle over with fairly quickly
huh? Miss, ur saying go after the Captain's first?? And get the battles over with very quickly. Is that what ur saying?? i'm Black American, I don't speak white people language...Maam. Mayb it's me, but my strategy is take out all the soldier's from behind their backs and u can kill the Captains first or last. Capeesh. lol The female soldiers are the hardest one's babe, I had this female stab my character with two blades, non stop I had to do that knife stomp on the ground to block her crap, I was like no no, baby, my turn, I gotta save my country. LOL hahaha. Did u know I have potential to do what Kassandra, and Alexios do, in real life. LMAO pfft....yeah...the bad guys don't want none of this. LOL hahaha My favorite blade in the video game is that Gold Blade Axe, babe, it gets the job DONE. soon i'm gonna get better one's.
Saving time walking across a map you've walked across twice isn't a bad thing, you still have the option to explore but it means you don't have to, especially when you can only dock your ship at certain places
Things that would save me many hours of gameplay. Not playing as both Kassandra and Alexios simultaneously. I probably should play 1 all the way through then the other b/c it’s getting annoying doing the exact same things twice in the same day.
TIP: for the % stats on equipment, look on the very bottom on the inventory equip screen and it’ll show you exactly how much more improvements you’re getting in either the hunter, warrior or assassin category. Also I like playing more assassin style so I usually just avoid big fights by using the blind flash stun. Great for getting out of tough multi enemy situations. Also, you can pay off bounty hunters in the menu - this is useful if they show up at inconvenient times
Also a good thing to note that I didn't realise until level 20 was the fact that the more synchronized viewpoints you have, it goes towards a skill for Ikaros towards attacking and distracting enemies, which can be useful especially when you don't decide to speck into minions fighting for you.
It's decent. But once you level high enough you one hit everything. And it gets redundant you don't end up sneaking just spamming and kicking not my fav ac. However it's a pretty world for sure
Tip from someone who's played and completed every assassin's creed game: make sure your charged arrow capabilities and hunter shots are set up, it will help you to kill at a distance and stay hidden, trust me, you'll get things done alot quicker and slicker.
I invested all of my points in the Warrior category (when i only had like 25) I understand that it’s frustrating to not one-shot your opponent with assassination but if you fully upgrade your fire ability and warrior damage and armor, youll be unstoppable.
Great tips! Took me at least 50 hours of gameplay to learn that stuff. I have heard many people suggest dismantling gear to get the resources. I am at level 47 and I have found that at different points in the game I have been resource hungry for different things. At one point I couldn't get enough leather, at another obsidian. Dismantling was not effective for me. I found that you can sell your stuff for more drachmae then go buy what you need. For example, a basic piece of gear would yield 1 obsidian, rare piece of gear 2 obsidian. That same piece of gear would sell for about 400 drachmae (depending on level). I would rather pocket that drachmae and now I always buy nearly all the resources the blacksmith has to sell.
If you’re trying to clear the decks of enemy ships after boarding, spec to use the radial explosion warrior ability. Since it sends enemies flying 360 around you, you’ll often be able to knock 2 or 3 enemies off the ship decks in each cast. I’ve one-shot small boats by running into the middle of a pack of enemies that way. Another tip with that radical blast ability is if you combine it with poison or fire weapons (inate-ability or cast) it will also infect the entire circle around you with that same elemental damage. Really fun to walk into the center of a group of enemies, pull out your fire-sword, cast radial blast, watch 4 guys fall into the water and the rest of them sitting at 75% on-fire.
tip: upgrading your gear not only upgrades the stats but the buffs as well (class damage is increased by 2% on 11,21,31... levels ). i didnt notice this till i was about 30-40 levels and used to sell or dismantle all the previous items i had, i thought i would just point it out if anyone else hasn't noticed
Tip 1: If enemies are searching for you Use the meditate so they will forget about you and you can come back and assassinate them Tip 2: When disabling a ship ALWAYS board them for extra xp, weapons from their crates and after your ship health is back to full. Liutenants or a few ship crew can even help you and they respawn after boarding Tip 3: If you got a powerful enemy knocked down Be it mercenary or polemarch (Health almost at zero) recruit them as they give powerful stats same if you stealhthily knock them out if you cant assasinate them you can use paralyzing arrows plus devastating shot Tip 4: Always check shipwrecks as they give out decent loot and even more cooler (epic ship crew) the second type of loot is more rare as i found way farther from Athens Tip 5: Get the beast master ability so you can tame them and fight with you plus their faces are..... find out for yourself oh use the arrows i mentioned in tip 4 too
I dont want to sound like a cliche but this video was put together really well, straight to the point and informative, you didn’t waste any time stumbling or self advertising
Hands down sparta kick is my favorite ability, get a high enough cliff and you can yeet a higher level to their eminent yet hilarious death... plus there is an ability you can get idk if you unlock it by level or you have to research it, but at max level it negates all fall damage, I like it because it allows you to get outta dodge real quick if neccessary
Tip: idk when u unlock this or if it’s always there but with your abilities if u hit down on the downpad u can add an extra 4 set with your ability wheel and can switch off whenever u want during combat etc 👍
tbh i love that you talked fast i understood all your points and i see so many tips n tricks videos that is like 20-30 mins long so i never see those you got the most imp over with in a short amount of time...so love that and thank you
The shield breaker perk works almost as well as the Sparta kick. I charge up my bar and just spam back and forth on them when I have a ton of enemies. Just climb one of the archer towers in a base and knock them all off.
I am Brazilian and I am happy to have understood everything. I have fun with games that I like and even improve my English a little. Almost 30K, let's go!!!
Thanks for this video. Other than the 'ability' section, I've been doing almost everything else since I started. I've a simple rule with all ACs, as soon as I start, I dedicate the first few hours to synchronising viewpoints everywhere. Once I do that, the gameplay becomes better and less annoying. Secondly, I'm still on level 31, and I've only done 70% of 2 or 3 cities. I levelled up only through side quests and contracts. Contracts and Bounties do help a lot with quick XP. With my past AC experience, one thing I realised really quick was you only enjoy the main story if you are properly levelled up. That's why I spend a lot of time side quests and locations/forts/camps to level up before engaging properly with the main quest
I do the same thing with the synchronization strategy as well! I just watch a movie on the television above the one I use for gaming and commence with synchronizing viewpoints accordingly! It really does save a great deal of time!
Spartan kick is overrated. It’s not good enough for crowd control, and its main purpose is to kick someone off high ground to deal a ton of damage. The thing is, enemies that actually give you trouble you probably cannot kick, and those who you can kick are often no threat at all, making them walking adrenaline refill pools(using normal attacks), which are not worth wasting your adrenaline on.
I just started this game today n so far great. I'm still getting use to the mehcanics and having this info available now is a great opportunity to get the most out of it. The fact you can reset your abilities is awesome I wish AC Syndicate had this option. Thanks for all the info in this vid as I will be doing exactly as you have shown for ie; the contracts on notice board to activate them so when you happen upon that particular area you already have the contract even if you picked it up a few days ago atleast you can choose to do it or not but having it already set is definitely the way to go... Cheers for the Help Bro.
1.Get The heal ability early in game. 2. Get posidean tridant early so you can attach breath underwater to the weapon your using. 3 . Do the oriculum quests every week and check the shop every week. 4.heavy blunted weapons will chain on your over power ability, use it for groups and your sword as a fast weapon for 1V1 5. Running is always a option. Stick and move. 6. Save frequently. Exit a fort every so often and save so if ya die you don't have to do the fort all over again.
Anyone on the fence about getting it I say GET IT! Yes it had a little bit of a normal slightly buggy AC but it's such a HUGE game well worth the money and especially if you liked ACorigins gameplay style I love it and I know it prob wont but I'd love AC3 Remaster to have it too XDD
Nuuccii92 I was on the fence because it looked like origins but decided to buy it since it’s on sale for $50 GOLD edition meaning comes with season pass & remaster of AC3 which I never bought for AC game(that says something). The regular is like $30 but get the gold the upcoming dlcs look promising. You can get it for 5 bucks cheaper from green man gaming than the Ubisoft winter sale store
I've got about 80 hours into the game, just finished all the underwater locations, now working on the side missions, high points and getting ancient tablets. I have Deimos and Kleon left before exposing the middle person and still feel like I have a crap ton of stuff to do. Loved fighting a real minotaur and Medusa was a pain but when I levelled up, it was a great fight along with the other big 2 bounty contracts you get at the beginning, those 2 were a nice surprise.
Got the gold edition for $25 and yes I’m loving it. Can’t wait to get to the dlc and haven’t tried AC3 yet. Best part about waiting a year to get this (other than price) is NO BUGS.
Nuuccii92 i gotta say i was disappointed with odyssey especially since i bought it for 60$ i didn’t feel at all that it was an assassins creed game but the end of the story was definitely a good ending and a sad one too despite having the bad ending
Epic has three attributes, Legendary has two. Engrave whatever you want. Upgrade your favorites. Do the contracts with orichucum first! They are the ones with the blue swirl icon. That allows you to buy legendary gear at the oikos store and try your hand at the gift of the olympians. I’ve gotten two legendary items for a measley 40 orichulcum (20 each) instead of 160 AND I they were Helix store items I didn’t have to spend real money for. If you like “stuff”, that’s the place to go. And there are no repeat drops like the Heka chest had in Origins. 😎 Update: Legendary now has three attributes in addition to the improved set bonus attribute to make them more enticing, and you can customize any piece (of the same type) to look like your favorite pieces that you unlocked.
@@yazal9884 is it worth buying the game? I've got 40 hours on it but it's called at 1.06 due to it being cracked and I'm absolutely loving it. Thinking of getting it alongside season pass, would you recommend it?
I know I'm very late and this is probably common knowledge by now but you can fast travel to ship docks as well no matter whether you are on or off the ships so you don't have to constantly rely on the synchronization points especially if the area you're going to isn't fully discovered just the ship dock itself can help a ton
I LOVE the Sparta Kick. I did eventually find it exceptionally useful to deal with enemies that were a higher level, but I mainly got it just for the fun of kicking them off of something high! I can't even count the number of times I found myself laughing as the enemy went flying over a cliff and splatting on the ground far below. Maybe that just says something about me????? :) I had strayed away for Odyssey for a bit but with your advice (I did not even know about upgrading the ship!), I will now be returning to the game and using the message boards to do quests to help gain me levels. Thanks for the video!
Tip(s): always check what the blacksmith has to offer, you can always teleport to ship docks and if you are very rich in drachme make sure to learn better engravings from hephaistos
Spartan Kick is pretty nerfed later on in the game though. Can't kick people off roofs or mountains as much as they just soak it. At the start though I killed SOOOOO many people using that technique :D
Once you upgrade it to level 3 it works pretty well, it also goes directly off your warrior damage so if that is low then it wont give them the ragdoll effect
it stopped being effective for me around level 40. Before that I was kicking mercenaries 2-3 levels higher than me off cliffs and getting the kills that way.
I started playing odyssey back in Dec of 2021....I've put in 150 hrs, I'm at level 50, 65% of completing trophies,...I have not completed game yet,...this is the fkn longest game I've played in awhile....it's fun, I enjoyed the myth characters....I finished chapter 7, a few more chapters to go....this is my 3rd ac series to complete and enjoy
To make the Legendary animal fights easy get a bunch of bounty hunters to chase you into the fight area and position yourself so the animal's rush/aoe attacks hit the bounty hunters, then spam arrows/heal until they kill it.
Sparta kick should be the first thing you unlock. For usefulness and entertainment. It's so satisfying kicking someone into a wall or a pot of oil by a torch.
You guys can also use Ikaros to inflict damage on higher level enemies after you synchronize enough times, just hide and let ikaros do the work (takes some time though) you can tag an enemy or press triangle to harass
Something i wish i knew before playing is: Don't open the gate to the Minotaur boss fight unless you're ready to kill it, otherwise the door can close and you will never gain access to it again and have to *start all over again from the beginning of the game.*
Another thing you can add to the list. I found out the hard way. Making the wrong decision in certain quests can completely delete the possibility of certain side quests. For example: in the mission with Kira and her sister, I ended up killing both of them. I screwed up the quest so bad that
If you find yourself constantly short on wood resources, break ships in half by ramming them. You get a lot more wood this way than you do by boarding them.
Thanks Michelle, I didn't know that XD. BTW, fancy meeting you here
That's what she said...
Omg thank you so much, how often have I faced the “no arrows available” message 😂
On higher levels, I just sell any weapon I get from enemy drops, then use that money to buy wood. You will get way more wood that way than if you just disassembled the enemy gear, as the money the merchants pay you for selling high-level gear scales with your level.

Tip: whenever you see a blacksmith, check what he sells, sometimes you could buy ancient tablets or cultist clues from him
to save you some time the only cultist clue you get from a smith is in korinth. all the others are by quests (main or side) or by killing other cultists. also can't say about "basic" cultists but you can find and kill some sages without uncovering them first ie the sage from the eyes and from the heroes
@@7lukeiamyourfather7 Yeah, she will even say out loud that a cultist clue is nearby. I was utterly confused, after looting all the fortresses in the area and finding nothing. Finally I gave up and just visited the blacksmith... and he was selling it.

Tip #1 : Dismantle colored items you don't need as u will get a lot more resources and sell items that aren't colored for gold
Tip #2 : If you're playing for the first time and are searching for items just use your eagle and it will mark it for you.
Tip # 8 : You can repeat the game as many times as you want
Tip #9 : Play it with joystick as i strongly recommend it.
Tip #10 : Board quests are infinite and good way of earning EXP, gold and resources
Tip #11 : If you hate microtransactions do the Orichalcum quests.
Tip #18 : After reaching level 20 you will have no falling damage
Tip #19 : Pick up olive wood from the trees around the world as well as stones.
Tip #20 FINAL TIP : If Gamer Guru is talking too fast just put the play speed to 0.50 or 0.75 :)
P.S. Try the player story created mode if you are into community build quests.

Best comment ever
What would that have to do with this even if he was
Ruk us : this comment is a reference to the game (AC:O) and Eminem.

On god

Vincent Krommenhoek Not necessary at all except for maybe very early on.
You get plenty of money so don’t sell the gear. Just break down everything AND buy the resources.
Shooting sharks is one of the best mechanics I found out in the game

how do you reste the points
Also the heavy attacks knock shield units around so you can get some Adrenalin for a shield break
I just sweep them with a bow Skill on Conquest Battles 😂😂😂 easy, . . .

Finally gave it a shot man I take back everything I’ve said about the newer AC games odyssey is a masterpiece I’m enjoying every minute
Just hit level 12 last night, this is extremely helpful now. Glad I watched it before I went any deeper. Cheers
Tip 1: If enemies are searching for you Use the meditate so they will forget about you and you can come back and assassinate them
Tip 2: When disabling a ship ALWAYS board them for extra xp, weapons from their crates and after your ship health is back to full. Liutenants or a few ship crew can even help you and they respawn after boarding
Tip 3: If you got a powerful enemy knocked down Be it mercenary or polemarch (Health almost at zero) recruit them as they give powerful stats same if you stealhthily knock them out if you cant assasinate them you can use paralyzing arrows plus devastating shot
Tip 4: Always check shipwrecks as they give out decent loot and even more cooler (epic ship crew) the second type of loot is more rare as i found way farther from Athens
Tip 5: Get the beast master ability so you can tame them and fight with you plus their faces are..... find out for yourself oh use the arrows i mentioned in tip 4 too
I dont want to sound like a cliche but this video was put together really well, straight to the point and informative, you didn’t waste any time stumbling or self advertising
How do you all find enough cliffs near your enemies to make this worthwhile?? I don't understand.
Tip: idk when u unlock this or if it’s always there but with your abilities if u hit down on the downpad u can add an extra 4 set with your ability wheel and can switch off whenever u want during combat etc 👍
Bows and arrows saved me, just a fuckton of arrows and patience can and will kill an enemy a few levels higher than you
Was a good strat until i fought the legendary hyena....that hyena......
Chris Flores the boar was worse for me that little fucker took me at least 5 goes before I could kill it
Chris Flores that hyena was easy
idunno 65 facts. It was harder than the cyclops.
That's what I did for the minotaur
knowing you can fast travel to the ship docks helped a lot
Great video, really helped, subscribed!
tbh i love that you talked fast i understood all your points and i see so many tips n tricks videos that is like 20-30 mins long so i never see those you got the most imp over with in a short amount of time...so love that and thank you
The shield breaker perk works almost as well as the Sparta kick.
Subbed!! Legend!! Appreciate the tips 👍
I actually like his fast talking he puts alot of informative information in each sentence. And i can understand him and hes not mumbling.
Spartan kick is overrated. It’s not good enough for crowd control, and its main purpose is to kick someone off high ground to deal a ton of damage. The thing is, enemies that actually give you trouble you probably cannot kick, and those who you can kick are often no threat at all, making them walking adrenaline refill pools(using normal attacks), which are not worth wasting your adrenaline on.
exactly!!
Spartan kick is so much useful when boarding enemy ships
Ring of Chaos all the way
It’s useful when you’re near a ledge and trying to fight a group of enemies at the same time.
That’s when it was useful for me, at least.
Best part of vid is Gerard Butler screaming This is Sparta lol nice video man lots of helpful advice
1.Get The heal ability early in game.
2. Get posidean tridant early so you can attach breath underwater to the weapon your using.
3 . Do the oriculum quests every week and check the shop every week.
4.heavy blunted weapons will chain on your over power ability, use it for groups and your sword as a fast weapon for 1V1
5. Running is always a option. Stick and move.
6. Save frequently. Exit a fort every so often and save so if ya die you don't have to do the fort all over again.
Late to the party, but you were super helpful, also appreciate your speedy voice accompanying your excellent tips, THANK YOU!
I got it for like 20 at costco best purchase ever
😎 Update: Legendary now has three attributes in addition to the improved set bonus attribute to make them more enticing, and you can customize any piece (of the same type) to look like your favorite pieces that you unlocked.
customizing the piece was the best thing to come !
@@yazal9884 is it worth buying the game? I've got 40 hours on it but it's called at 1.06 due to it being cracked and I'm absolutely loving it. Thinking of getting it alongside season pass, would you recommend it?
@@Brisingrr_ this is a game worth buying. I like trying games first too.
That’s a great tip getting the higher level guys to chase you to a cliff edge then givin him the “THIS IS SPAR-TA!” Launch......brilliant....
You talk at the perfect speed and with the emphasis on only important information. I love it.
I had strayed away for Odyssey for a bit but with your advice (I did not even know about upgrading the ship!), I will now be returning to the game and using the message boards to do quests to help gain me levels.
I think it only works properly on enemies that are your lvl or lower?
Once you upgrade it to level 3 it works pretty well, it also goes directly off your warrior damage so if that is low then it wont give them the ragdoll effect
it stopped being effective for me around level 40. Before that I was kicking mercenaries 2-3 levels higher than me off cliffs and getting the kills that way.
Mike Richardson i noticed it at lvl 28 and up
Am level 47 now and I can’t do it anymore. Tried last night in an enemy fort and it didn’t work. Very annoyed
I recently played the witcher 3 and loved it. I've now started odyssey and are really impressed so far ..
Spartan kick is great for clearing the deck of a boat when boarding
The first 5 seconds of the video earned you a subscriber
To make the Legendary animal fights easy get a bunch of bounty hunters to chase you into the fight area and position yourself so the animal's rush/aoe attacks hit the bounty hunters, then spam arrows/heal until they kill it.
Honestly hands down the best, more RUclipsrs need to be like you. Thanks for the amazing tips😁
I personally LOVE going after mercenaries that are higher than me in terms of level, it’s more fun than beating a mercenary that is on your level
Sparta kick should be the first thing you unlock. For usefulness and entertainment. It's so satisfying kicking someone into a wall or a pot of oil by a torch.
I just bought the game so thank you, kinda late haha
I just started today. Spend 5 hours before I got the ship. Great game
You guys can also use Ikaros to inflict damage on higher level enemies after you synchronize enough times, just hide and let ikaros do the work (takes some time though) you can tag an enemy or press triangle to harass
Appreciate you're time in to making this video. Just got the game, so will defiantly use some of the things you shared. Thanks!
This helped me so much, awesome vid man🙌❤🇿🇦
Play this video on 0.75x speed. You are welcome
He was talking so fast, thanks
Something i wish i knew before playing is: Don't open the gate to the Minotaur boss fight unless you're ready to kill it, otherwise the door can close and you will never gain access to it again and have to *start all over again from the beginning of the game.*
Bruh I'm like 50 hours in and I'm only just leaving Attika I hope that doesn't happen to me
Another thing you can add to the list. I found out the hard way. Making the wrong decision in certain quests can completely delete the possibility of certain side quests. For example: in the mission with Kira and her sister, I ended up killing both of them. I screwed up the quest so bad that
Great tips. Thank you!
The intro alone made me subscribe 😂😂💯💯🔥🔥💪🏿
