Lived here for 69 years, not the first residential development on the front range. The market will dictate who and who does not build here. Most people here weren't around for the oil shale bust in the 70-80's, we went from people living under bridges (photo front page Den post) making 6 figures, to whole brand new Condo complexes with zero residences for half a decade in foreclosure. BTW- when Colorado was a RED state, life here was great.
Great insights, Alex! The influx of luxury condos and the oversaturation of rental units in downtown Denver is definitely something to keep an eye on. It's fascinating to see how these developments might impact the market, especially with current vacancy rates and the high HOA fees. I'm curious to see if these projects will thrive or struggle to find buyers and tenants. Thanks for breaking down the numbers and giving us a clear picture of what’s happening in the Denver real estate scene!

I wasn't here for the oil shale bust but now I have to look into that. That sounds fascinating, scary, but fascinating.

You bet! I was a bit surprised to see the actual numbers too. It is a micro market within Denver, that's for sure. I guess we'll find out!
