How is the best part of the whole game blocked?!?! Makes no sense!! Oh well, thanks for posting this!! I was 13 when the Browns won this game and i remember going crazy with the winning TD!!
I was at this game and when I saw Slaughter breaking down the left side of the field I turned to my buddy and said we're gonna win!!! Shame they cut that out.
I was a season ticket holder during all of the Kosar years. This was the best game and since we never made it this was our Super Bowl. I was 30 years old here and I cried a little after the winning TD, tears of unbridled joy.
@@maddymud its more diabolical by the NFL if they let you watch the entire game, then yank the rug. Unbelievable. A 37 year old game ..but hey they only made 20.2 BILLION last year..what can we expect? 🤷♂️ new day Nazis
Offense and defense of line dont look as intense as it is these days. Now you see and hear their helmets constantly smashing eachother. You dont see that here. Were sacs not as common of a thing back then?
I don’t think they had perfected the on-field microphone technology that they have now. That probably explains the lack of crushing sounds. And sacks were definitely just as common back then. Al “Bubba” Baker had 23 sacks as a rookie for the Lions in 1980, which would still be a record if they kept sacks as official stats in 1980. They didn’t officially keep those records until 1982, but the sacks before then are documented. Mark Gastineau had 22.5 sacks in 1984. And plenty of others had big numbers through the years.
The game was MUCH more physical back in the 1980s. There weren't all the sissy rules that makes the NFL basically flag football like it is today. These games were absolute wars. If you don't think it was intense, go watch highlights of Lawrence Taylor from the Giants, Mike Singletary from the Bears, or Ronnie Lott from the 49ers. You'll have a MUCH different opinion on how intense the game was.
@@christiancharles2866 I could care less lol. Cleveland is irrelevant in…everything…wait….we will count the Pro football Hall of Fame…it’s in Canton but close enough 🤣🤣..
I miss real football like this!
Ugh. Of course there’s a copyright issue!! Been waiting for this upload forever. I was at this game at age 11. Thanks for posting.

That CLEVELAND LB Corps ...GYATDSAAAYUM!!!
Oz used to slice us up! Steel City Real!
The Steelers had Mark Malone and no secondary and the Browns still needed overtime to win this game at home.
Browns still beat the steelers and swept the series in 1986
Divisional games are always tough dumbo!
Seriously? The game winning touchdown was cut?
Mark Malone stunk
Let's go Steelers!!!!
Cleveland D giving up a late drive again.
Browns won all that matters

Yeah that was pretty cheap at the end good game but no reason for doing that cutting it off at the part that people wanted to see.
