MDA - Israel's world-beating emergency medical response group

The story of Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s amazing national emergency medical response organisation. MDA is part of the Red Cross & Red Crescent movement. A remarkable 60% of MDA’s thousands of volunteers are Jewish and Arab Israeli Muslim and Christian teenagers. As a result Israel has the highest percentage of teenage emergency medical technicians (EMTs) in the world.
