@EchoBoomer1987 It is actually months that have gone by since they were on a break, and it allowed Caitlyn to realize that Vi was in the right the whole time, she just didn't listen because she was allowing her blind rage and wanting Jinx' blood for her mother's death. It clouded her judgment and made her hard and cold. I imagine she began that relationship with Maddie only because Vi was still on her mind and she was trying to distract herself from that.
even though it wasn’t only that since cait was never a bad person, she just got carried away by her desire of revenge for her mother. once she calmed down and time passed the old cait started to come up to the surface and the reunion with Vi was an opportunity to make things right with herself and with Vi (since the last time they saw each other she punched her with a gun and left her there). love that she called her cupcake and cait’s eyes just lit up😭

@@MonsteregoVL I definitely think in THE scene in ep8, it was Caitlyn who gave Vi confidence to take the lead in the scene when she smirks at her. I was too shocked by them going at it to realize the first watch-through of that little detail.
Or maybe it is just showing that, unlike how most joke about Cait being into whips and cuffs, Cait is the one who likes being controlled and tied up. I can kind of see Cait being a lesbian switch and now can't stop thinking about it.

@cats1nthecity Obviously, there is some subtlety to that whole prison scene, not just THE part (although that is nice window into showing what that side of their life may look like), but my favorite is the part where Caitlyn is honest about her having seen another girl while they were apart, since it also shows her expression being mixed between cringe and surprise, and then we see Vi's response being hilarious to me as it both was saying "I don't care about that" and also "I don't care about that or any of them... because you're mine now." Something slightly possessive and also shaky in Hailee's line delivery that gives it that longing edge for Cait.

I do love how they show their planning and chemistry together within hours of working with each other again, showing that they are soulmates because they come back to each other at a time when they are both realizing that they were in the wrong in some ways.

@@89technical More or less missing a few steps and key details along the way, and also forgot Vi's perspective in that, but it's actually pretty accurate. The most important key that you forgot was her admitting her wrongs to Vi in the office scene and then forgiving Jinx so that she could love Vi. Also, I could see it being that she's secretly wanting Jinx' approval of her relationship with her older sister. And Jinx gives it to them both.
Next one with them, I want to see their endgame being that they get engaged, married, and become one of those ancient married couples that say they've loved each other for X amount of decades.
I also secretly want to write the script for Diana and Leona's romance and love story because I would know exactly what I would want do with their story by the ending.
I want to combine aspects of their old lore personalities and stories with the new one.
The love story from teen ages still being in there, but also having it be this later tension when Diana comes back into the picture, 5-6 years into the future as a beautifully powerful aspect of the moon, and them becoming enemies reluctantly during those warring years. With Diana still loving Leona, but wanting revenge on Leona's cult-like leader for his part in killing her people for their differing beliefs. That could be something fun to explore in the story.

@nokuthuladlamini2443 Notice how Caitlyn also is shocked and not happy when she calls her that. Since, this in-story, being about 5 months after their break up (and about 3 weeks before that break they started this short romance), we know Caitlyn has said she hates being called rich or high-standing and just wanted to be seen as her own person without that status. Of course, over time, when they come back to each other, both kind of realize they need each other and that they were both in the wrong in some ways.
Similar to, but also still a bit different, from Diana and Leona's love story.
Although the original lore was just them having been acquaintances, and Diana was supposed to have feelings for Leona, but the creator of the game thought it better to hold off on that until later on (since that was in 2010 and no games really had any same-sex-loving females at the time). If I were to write that script for LoL and Riot, I would rewrite it in that I'd take some parts of their old lore characters and then the new lore. Kinda split it between the two sides for them so that leona is not so one-dimensional like she is now and having to balance her and Diana's love for one another, with Diana's want and need to prove to Leona that her leader, and her parents, were evil and deserved death for the death's of Diana's parents.
Or, something like that. I haven't worked it all out, but I am thinking of pitching it to Riot games and Netflix. Harder to do if you don't have a name for yourself in the industry yet.
