When Copeland enumerated all the wrestlers he hasn't faced yet I had the same reaction as Aubrey: "WTF?!!!!???" Yeah! There's a LOT of dream matches there!!!
I know it's been a hot minute and there's already a pile of new and exciting people that have come in after Mr. Copeland, but seriously.... I am still reeling... and in awe that EDGE is in AEW. I watched him in the 90's at WWE. Then, I also "retired" from wrestling in 2001. AEW and Chris Jericho on that announcement day brought me back. First it was Christian Cage. One half of the famous tag team. In AEW! I know he's had a slower start, but I knew that would change eventually as he adjusted and melded into the roster. Now there he is, making Luchasaurus a bigger deal than Jungle Boy. Who would have seen that coming??? And now EDGE! And here I am still in awe that EDGE is in AEW now.
Well with all do respect to Adams comments, there are wrestling fans like myself that it's actually more about the moves and not so much about a storyline. For me storylines are ok but if I love a wrestler's work is about his abilities to wrestle and not the actor behind. That is what amazed me about wrestling when I grew up and saw it when I was 3-4 years of age. That's why I rarely saw WWE back in the early 2000s but really disliked the company. Some of my favorite wrestlers have made the jump to WWE through the years and I stopped following their career. In fact, I didn't even know where Matt Cardona came from, I just learned through AEW and Adam vs Matt match, and it was awesome. A lot of the WWE's ex-wrestlers I never saw them perform before entering an AEW ring. I had never seen Bryan Danielson wrestle, had never seen Jon Moxley, nor Claudio Castagnoli, or Adam Cole, Saraya, Ruby Soho, Miro, etc. Had never seen none of those wrestle before joining AEW. I did knew Copeland and Christian from their very very early work in WWE, but I knew Christian more because he joined TNA back in the mid 2000. I used to watch TNA back then. I knew Samoa Joe from TNA, knew Chris Jericho from WCW, and like that. So for me, most of these veterans/legends are new to me because I don't watch WWE. I prefer pro-wrestling to soap opera Broadway style wrestling like the WWE.
How does adam feel about going out there saying we need to move on from the negative BS? Then, the next week, TK brings all that negative BS right into the forefront by showing the cm punk footage.
The second-hand joy is so real whenever I hear a Cope interview. My man is living his very best life.
Getting a billionaire to pay him over odds to work part time in job he has had no real passion for in over decade?
Fair play to him

Fair enough, so you don't touch WWE content at all? Sounds like you're made for AEW.
I didnt know Matt Riddle was an AEW podcast host
