They cut the part where he lapped it up.
@@lemster101 If you see any of these panel shows live it is vastly different from what actually makes it on TV.
The audience basically have to sit through all the breaks and outtakes. There are entire 'bits' that just straight up get edited out. It's like an entirely different show.
This is also why you'll sometimes see episodes of panel shows where it seems like one of the guests never speaks, because none of their jokes actually made it into the final cut.

Never fail to be amused by the comments under any panel show video. Not every little joke is the best display of wit since jokes were invented... It was not that good - wit is inventive, that was the obvious path.
I think Joe's was even better.

although i`ve not really watched countdown much over the years, and probably only watched watched this much more entertaining version only about once, if theres an episode out there that rachel riley wears a dress so short, that we finally get a look at her pants, than thats the episode that i really want to see.

I find it both amazing and annoying that whenever Jimmy Carr jokes about his avoidance of paying taxes - a deliberate act - people laugh about it and think it’s funny.......
It's cause he was genuinely sorry and paid it all back, unlike most rich people. And he never made any excuses or got upset at people mocking him for it
Probably because it's not something people care about - hence their continual use of tax cheats like Amazon despite there being a multitude of alternatives readily available.
