The only two good ones, that I can actually vouch for, are the two "Classic Namco games" JonTron shows.
It's basically 1:1 of PacMan, Ms. PacMan, Galaga, etc. They were actually flawless and played very well every single time.

I gotta say, not all Plug in and Play Games are terrible. I have 2 that were officially created by Namco that were collections of Classic Namco Games!
Same with the Genesis, though the Genesis wasn't entirely Plug and Play, you could buy cartridges for it, so that was neat.
The official classic arcade ones aren't bad but the bootleg and original ones are pretty bad

The thing that really stuck out to me was the “sense of right” thing. The yellow ranger is meant to be from SPD and the number 3 in SPD is the green ranger and the yellow ranger in that show was a girl. Idk why that’s the thing that bothered me most but oh well 😂

I was born a bit after arcades went out of service and I actually quite enjoyed my Namco Plug’n Play Games! Not to mention the Star Wars Space Shooter! That was awesome!

The plug and plays I had were the SpongeBob one, Classics Arcade, Disney Princess, and I swear I remember a Finding Nemo or Shrek one.

I remember my mom getting me a Pac-Man Plug and Play and it had 5 or 4 other Namco games in it. Now I have that same Pac-Man Plug and Play game and a Mega Man 2 one as well.
Well there was a really good plug-and-play console it was a Scooby-Doo one and the actual joystick base was the mystery machine

My grandma has 2 of those Plug-and-Play things. One of them is a classic Namco with Ms. Pac-Man and the other is a SpongeBob Fry cook games where SpongeBob's nose was the joystick.
When I was around 6 my family got a Kia Sedona (I think that's how it's spelt) and we got one that had a dvd player built in it, what we didn't know was it actually had basically one of these off brand game combo "consoles" in it also... They were so goofy and we only played them once and a while but everytime I see these kind of "consoles" they always remind me of that thing because most of the game were so similar. Actually now that I look over this video again most of them Were these games...

Omg I loved the plug and plays. I still have some scattered across my house. The one I remember the most tho was the one on the left at 4:50. I played for HOURS on that thing alone. It was awesome. Being able to play PAC Man, Dig Dug, (and personal favorite) Galaxian(no, I'm not making the name up, that is literally what it is called, it was a simpler version of Galaga), it was absolutely epic.
You guys got some serious catch-up to do.
