Fun fact: Hitting Mices is also on another plug and play under the name Donkey Kong with Donkey Kong on the title screen. And the theme is an off key version of the arcade theme. Plus the mice are Jerry.
I once played something that was *basically* a Game Boy SP except it didn't have a game cartridge slot and it only played what I thought at the time was a bootleg but which I later discovered was actually just Mario 2.
I remember having a plug and play of Namco games, specifically Ms Pac-Man, Xevious, Mappy, and Galaxian, and the plug and play of Spider-Man with the game about searching through the sewers for The Lizard that Jontron mentions which is called Escape from the Sewers in which Spider-Man has to go through the sewers stopping bombs planted by the Lizard whilst doing so you have to defend yourself against attacks by the Lizard, this plug and play also came with Streets Of The City, in which you collect money bags and fight Spider-Man villains, such as Rhino, Scorpion, Electro, and Green Goblin, another game was Venom’s vindication in which you have to shoot webs to catch radioactive web bombs, it also had Vulture’s Venture in which you have to stop Vulture from killing you with missiles, and finally there was Spider Training in which you shoot webs at villains like targets at a gun range.
I remember two plug and play consoles I used to mess aroung with. One was Spongebob's nose and the other was the Mystery Mobile. I couldn't tell you what games were on them though. Except I remember liking the Spongebob one musch more and that it had twenty-or-so games.
I'm-a say now - the Namco ones were the only good Plug N' Play systems. I will stand by that statement 'til the end of time, but admittedly, the Namco Museum games on PS1 were marginally better. I had the 3rd volume in the series, and it still makes me happy to see and hear it now and again. 😊 Also, if you're looking for good emulation of N64 or PS1 or whatever, I've heard good things about this new device called the Raspberry Pi. Either that, or wait for the Steam Deck to release and download some emulators on there. lol 😂
I had the power kracker. I got it at a flea market during a visit to america, unfortunately, my dogs chewed the power cord and I couldn't play it anymore.
Are you talking about the one with the pinball and weird pong-like games? I remember my friend having one of those, but I didn't have a way to search for it, so I forgot about it until now.
Have you guys ever considered reacting to the angry video game nerd? that kind of stuff seems right up your alley. Its even better if you or nikki played the game as a kid.
the plug and play consoles I had were the SpongeBob one with his house from 2004 by Jakks and I had the Disney one that looks like Mickey Mouse from 2004 by Jakks and I also had the Spiderman 3 one from 2007 .
When I was kid, I once found that Germ Killer game online as a Flash game called: “Happy Pill”. It was almost the same thing except Happy Pill had better graphics.
There is a fish with human-like teeth in the actual ocean. It doesn't look like the fish from Cute Fish, but that is probably because the artist obviously didn't care too much, nor did the programmers or anything.
First ever games I played was Fallout 3 and Halo 1 for the original Xbox 360 throughout most of my childhood I've played the PlayStation 2 but the first off-brand video game I think I ever played was a Star wars plug and Play game that had a bunch of Star wars games and it was actually quite fun
I once had a "off-brand" handheld konsole, that was basically just a single game with the same principle as Tetris. And it was actually amazing. Bigger field and more interesting block shapes. Recommend.
In the 1500 games there are many repeats, but having a neighbor who helped program the emulators for NES the difference I’s only the difficulty of speeding up the higher number you get. It is like after you pass Mario on NES and then the next part gets harder. The originals were better than they started adding more games and the quality went down. Also the first PP consuls you had to plug in the controller.
"What is your first game console?" The earliest one I can remember (besides one Sonic game) is one of those platform jumping games in you play as a bunny. _(Don't remember that name though, sorry.)_

I knew it they stole the concept from donkey kong
Which plug and play machine was that?
@@RetroMediaMan96 I forget the name but the streamer vargskelethor played it. Its archived on his full streams channel with many other bootleg streams
I had the plug n play it was on when I was a kid, but I don't know the name of it, the only thing I can tell you is it was lime green
@@kyletheforgottenone6585 zone 40 Wii bootleg. Look up Vargskelethors video on it to see if that's what you remember.

i mean, technically the north american release of mario 2 is just bootleg doki doki panic
@@jojivlogs_4255 not really though. Nintendo made it, and they made Doki Doki Panic. It’s just a reskin.
@@sphjinx1448 you know what i meant. also i actually learned later its not even just a reskin. they fixed a lot of bugs

Whatever you said i agree
Yeah! I never beat Streets of the City, but I always got so close to the end.
I once got one of these that had the first 3 Final Fantasy games ported onto it for 5 bucks it was pretty good...
Vinny has a whole segment called "Plug and Plague".
fun fact: girth brooks is a character from SNL played by Ben affleck in one of there skits.
I remember owning a pretty cool Star Wars plug and play that used a toy lightsaber and motion controls. It was great at the time.

Referring to the cute fish joke, the cheese wedge is in the shape of an acute angle.
I vividly remember Shrek Golf...played it so much...I had a lot plug n play consoles...

A true tragedy 😢 😔
"girth brooks" omg i died
It's cool that the first plug and play he holds up when he introduces the concept(the blue Sega one) is the same one I used to have when I was a kid
