Thank you for an informative video. My plants (orchids and Hoyas) live outdoor pretty much all year as I am in a tropical environment with about 250 days of sunshine. Thank you! Very interesting, thanks. We have a few of these. We have a plant shelf that's in a difficult situation - 4m up, 4m away from a big picture window facing East (N Yorkshire) so pretty gloomy. Aeschynanthus japhrolepsis has been the best for trailing down the wall (now 2m long) for the hanging gardens of Babylon effect. Occasionally flowers, so handy to know the dead-heading trick. A different variety (lost the label 🤦‍♂) is more compact, so I might try to get this to flower more by trimming. Agree that they are really easy to propagate (I trapped and snapped a couple of stems in the cutlery drawer🤦‍♂ , stuck them in water, and rooted easily). I think professional growers put multiple plants in a pot. My cuttings seem to put out new stems from the original stem, rather than below ground, so the plant hasn't got any bigger at the base.
