- the cine film was given to me by andy sanggers for the lowestoft drifters reunion in 1993. spoke to him last at another drifters doo in 2003 and he still had not seen it ... sorry mate , better late than never. a few stills took from the cine at the end... any ideas any one who all these people are... i see jamie hunt and andy saggers ......any others , please post comment.

This is an excellent post,real footage from way back.Around `79/83 the coppers did all they could to keep scooterist`s out of town,cant understand why.LOL
Maybe incase there were any "greasers around". Ride safe my friends.

That was the weekend a Biker on Regent Rd tried to split my head open with a Axe.
Copper that see it was so scared he jumped on the back of my mates Scooter and told him to go to the Police Station.
Good thing was we got free digs at the station.
just love the scene and its great now the scene isnt full of youngins like meself
Does anyone from the sidewinders remember the mod nights at the flixton rooms (Samon & Hurcules Norwich) I was a member of the Broadsmen and remember a great group of lads from Yarmouth who came on a regular basis
