This type of butterfly has a very interestingly shaped chrysalis! Raising caterpillars is my hobby too, but lately I haven't had any time, so this video was refreshing to watch. Thanks for documenting the process :)
working on a video of all 7 polyphemus moths we had hatch and I also raised some butterflies this July from egg to butterfly and hopefully I can do that one too. sadly something was wrong with the device I was using to record and i missed alot of the good parts
This was absolutely amazing! I really enjoyed your video editing style, too. Subscribed! Looking forward to more videos, and the butterflies are breathtaking
Thanks for watching! They sure are beautiful yellow butterflies and really stand out. Hope I can attract them to the backyard! I also love to see the white females! 😍
Did you observe some/any egg-parasitoids of butterflies in your local area? It would be great to collect them inalkohol and make taxonomical identification. I do it wiith egg parasitoids in my lab.
Hello, can someone tell me what is the species of plant that the caterpillar eats or what is it called? (I'm using the translator to write this, I hope I'm doing it right) thanks

I keep seeing a butterfly missing half the wings on one side, it can still fly. It circles.
