Is nitro air is much better than normal?

Nitrogen is totally overrated. Our Atmospheric air is already 78% Nitrogen. Its the same air that you normally fill up in your tyres...pure nitrogen is not very useful for civilian car tyres. Its mainly meant for racing and performance cars where tyres heat up drastically in a short span of time. Nitrogen for city cars is just a marketing campaign by tyre shops to make money.

@@maneeshkhare7468 its called placebo effect. Nitrogen has no connection with tyre longevity. These all are "claimed benefits" of nitrogen. Except lesser visits to air refill points practically it has no considerable advantage over normal air in a civilian vehicle.

One small information I would like to add here is to never check your tyre pressure readings after long drives. As your tyres gets hot, the air inside the tyre expands and it’s going to give a false reading making you think that you are above the recommended limits.

Very informative video. Tyres are the only parts of a car which is in contact with road and unfortunately most neglected part. However, one suggestion .. instead of marking the tyres with FR, FL, RL & RR.. I mark my tyres as 1,2,3 & 4. Marking the tyres as FR , FL etc will lead to confusion during rotation. Instead, if marked with numbers make it simple to follow the rotation pattern.

Bottle jack is better, easy to use and compact. But its good only for SUVs or vehicle with good GC. Due to taller design It doesn't fits under chassis of a hatchback or a sedan. In that case only a scissor or trolley jack works...

To get an accurate idea of tire wear the tread depth measurments are to be taken as an average of at least three readings around the circumference of the tyre. The measurement points are to be chosen as closest to the center across the width of the tyre.
Also in a front wheel drive like Scorpio and that to with a heavy diesel engine the front tyres are usually expected to wear out at a faster rate than rear wheel tyres

Scorpio is not a front wheel drive its a rear wheel drive vehicle. Tyres on the back wear out faster than on the front mainly coz they handle all the acceleration and slippage specially while offroading. Yes I know about taking mean of three readings and same was taken off camera. Doing the same on camera will just make the video longer....

Try spraying the outside and inside sidewalls periodically with 303 Protectant ! It will keep the tires from drying out and cracking from the sunlight and heat .

How to maintain the spare Tyre for long life of it?

If its full size spare then 5 tire rotation and regular air pressure check. If its a emergency spare then just regular air checks. In case of open spares like Scorpio then a wash after 3-4 months. Nothing more is required

You forgot to mention one important point in regular maintenance.
One needs to apply tyre polish as this will prevent the Sun's UV rays.
I use 3M spray and Turtle foam.
Turtle foam is very easy. Just spray and forget it.

It also depends on tyre brand and compound. Harder rubber wears out slower than softer compunds. But yes we can try our best to keep the tyres running for longer durations.. thanks 😊
