    Kiwix box with a 1TB (or more) nvme to give to our tribe a wifi hotspot with all the data needed to rebuild society. I have one already - do you? Side note, mine has .ISOs of all OSes, retro and current, and bi-yearly data backups of MY data.

    You can simulate the internet going away by taking a ferry across the Baltic sea. The worst seven hours of my life.

    Offline maps are a must for me. Having a smartphone has rewired my brain to a point where I'd likely get completely lost in a new place without it. I'm starting to feel that having internet access most places I go is becoming a detriment.

    Bryan is going to have the world cloning debian repos again. YAY! I did that a long long time ago and it was a neat idea although wasteful. It's easier to run windows 98
