All new effects rack built from scratch! This may be my most realistic FM radio simulation to date. Enjoy!

@@otvicious6296 Thank you for asking. Not many on this channel, actually, since the core theme here is damaged and expired media. Here are a few, though!
      ruclips.net/video/0j7q3PoQmIs/видео.html
      ruclips.net/video/skAYGNO35ro/видео.html
      ruclips.net/video/S2Gr77rT5nQ/видео.html
There are maybe a few others here and there.
You may enjoy my other channel that is retro/vaporwave themed w/o the damaged media aspect, so all of the mixes are clean. However, it's not limited to jazz vaporwave. Either way, thank you for being here, and I appreciate you.

@VaporjazzLounge thanks man, i had no idea ai vapor music could be this good, you opened my eyes to a completely new way of making music, i could listen to this stuff for hours as well.

@@otvicious6296 Thanks! I've only been making the mixes with AI samples for about 3 months. Before that I used stock and Creative Commons music. AI makes music acquisition much easier, and since I'm applying all the same techniques in production it hardly matters where the samples come from as long as I can get a desirable result. Note that a lot of the AI music sounds more impressive at first than it actually is when you really start working with it. It can still take some extra effort to make it into something anyone would want to listen to more than once.

@@VaporjazzLounge do you mind sharing what AI you use I want to try and use ai samples for my songs, i tried with three of your sample and made the best songs ive ever made in my life.

Not digging the new effects. Prefer the previous sound. Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback! Of course, it's an evolving process, and no two mixes are identical, so your input will help inform future FM mixes. It means a lot to me that you enjoy them enough to care. I absolutely do hope you'll check in and let me know how you feel about the next one! I appreciate you.

    Visual: Cringe. Sound: OK

I sort of ruined the city lights with the "reflection" for this one, didn't I. It's way too bright. I always change the sound design for every mix, but this was a more radical change than usual. It's all experimental, so I appreciate your feedback!

@@VaporjazzLounge I disagree with OP. The reflections are a nice touch and the vibes are on point. Sounds way better than OK as well.
I would maybe revisit your type treatment, and your header is obscuring the subject slightly too much. Didn't notice for awhile that she is moving. I know it fades away but first impressions are everything! 👍
      Nice work

@@jordigan6060 Thank you so much for the kind words and constructive observations! My issues with the video are; the reflection is a little too bright. I try to make them more subtle. I also slowed the video a bit much, imo.
I do think the FM effect comes across quite well l in this mix, and that I did nail the LNLF vibes. Thank you!
I sometimes have issues with my text treatment, but it probably is an improvement over my older thumbnails. Another inspiration will come.
Sometimes I fade the title overlay more quickly; maybe I should make that the norm. Anyway, I do try to hear where someone else is coming from and I don't jump on people for not liking something. We are all different. Thanks for stepping in, and thank you for being here! Hope to see you around. Peace.

@@VaporjazzLounge please take anything I say as suggestion only 🤣 I'm a graphic designer by trade so when I see a constructive critique happening I feel compelled to share my thoughts haha.
My tip for typography is let the type treatment itself do the work. Not gradients, multiple colors, strokes or the like. Striking and bold contrasting type on top of a dark background will always grab attention.
      Keep doing you!

@@jordigan6060 I totally dig the feedback. I'm a designer by trade as well, so we're peers and it's all good. I'm not totally thrilled with all of my more recent thumbnails, and I think your advice addresses some of the issues I have with them. On the other hand I do have my own style, and readability is more challenging on some backgrounds than others. Also, it's all supposed to be sort of retro, anyway. I do think your suggestions are sound, and will be integrated into my creative palette going forward. I'm not the least bit offended. I appreciate you!

This sounds terrible, what is that white noise?

    • @VaporjazzLounge
      @VaporjazzLounge  2 месяца назад

It's a simulation of an FM radio. I usually identify the emulation in the thumbnail. Thanks for reminding me why I should always do that. Not everyone reads the title and description, and I'm ok with that! Thanks for giving it a listen. Peace.
