- In this video, I make a pair of minimalist convertible shoes. Inspired by Mohop's shoe's, I make a pair of shoes from motorbike tires, paracord, and decorative laces.
They work and are customizable. However, I need to make insoles for them and also create attachable uppers for cold weather.

Best idea for sandals I've seen on youtube. Thank you. Can you do part 2?
One Halloween ages ago, I needed sandals that laced up midcalf for a Gladiator costume. I made them much like these, but using a rubberized welcome mat. Worked very well!
Beautiful! You're so creative!
For guys, you can use brown or black leather strips instead of ribbons.
Muchas gra ias bella ! Son fabulosas e ingeniosas
Very creative!
Thank you! :)

Nice idea :)
Great idea. Cool, What did you use to cut the titer and formed the shoes?
Прикольное видео 😋
Thank you so much!! This is awesome!!! They look fantastic and it's do easy to make. It's possible to make the holes with a hot wire?
Very cool. Do you have updated video, where they are made with insoles?
Estás bien chidos tus zapatos, además los puedes customizar
Gracias
Very cool and creative 👣👌
Aww, thanks :)
Love it. They are very cool. I wonder if you could do something similar with a more comfortable base?n Great idea
Totally Doable Family Travel Funny you mention that, a more comfortable sole is what I've been working on today for this weeks video :)
Mobile Minimalist nice. Can't wait to see it!
Thanks :)
Totally Doable Family Travel I added an insole, but won't be able to make a video about it just yet as the shoe needs more work.
Mobile Minimalist will anticipate the final product x
You need to use the inner-tube too as an upper:) Great idea - you should check out the running shoes of the Tarahumara. They do something similar. Where did the stubby-holder come in?
Flo & Nord So I originally made them using fishing line to attach stubby holder foam as the insole, but in this video, I remade them with paracord and no insole. Next video, I hope to make a foam insole which will be thicker and more comfortable than both neoprene and inner tube. Yes, I've seen those barefoot shoes, but I'm hoping to create attachable uppers for these shoes to turn them into covered in shoes I can wear with socks for cold weather. The Tarahumara shoes do look good for minimalist running shoes, but I'm hoping to be able to wear mine for dressy occasions and cold weather, too. Which means I still need to do more work on them. Thanks so much for watching :)
this is fucking brilliant idea !!!! :D
but no need to worry if they are not comfortable in cold zone, cause nobody wears sandals in snow.
I want to buy
What is the size of the tire?
Brilliant & creative, but how & where did you secure the black laces around the sole to tie them off?
In this video, I tied the laces together in a knot at the back heel of the shoe which you can see at about 1:01 in the video. However, since posting this video, I remade the shoes and included a foam insole, and now the lace ends are handsewn together at the side where the arch of my foot is.
Where can I place my order?
Cute feet
Will you marry me ,👌✌️👍🇮🇳🆗
