But I feel really connected to him. Whenever I fantasy about my future, he his always there. He gives me a inner peace that I can't explain. A guy can know if a girl likes him? Honestly, I don't know. In secondary school, this girl would stare at me or look for ways to talk to me or sit near me. It was weird to me because she was pretty and I had low self esteem because I believed I was "ugly". People would say she liked me, but I would brush it off and never consider it. Fast forward to when we graduated and she got my number, called me and we kept talking for a few weeks. I then started to give in to the idea that I was worth someone's attention and then one day, she said she never liked me and that she was just fascinated by me because I was always quiet and kept to myself, so in summary, she was just being nice. Ever since then, no matter how a lady acts around me, I just sum it up to them being nice or patronizing. And even when a lady once blurted out that she loved me, I just thought to myself that she doesn't know what she's talking about. I never reciprocate or consider it.
But must you always get the person you like? Why can't I just wait for him to approach me? I won't want to end up wanting a relationship more than he wants him because I "paraded" myself for him to notice. Haa, omo, this thing is hard

My question is there's a guy I like so much and he already made advances he is a believer of the word, but I somehow feel like I want him to be more spiritual 😮 I don't know if it just a sentimental thing, he has the fruit of the spirit and he is a great believer of the word, but maybe not spiritual... Like he isn't someone that does reason logically and does not assume everything is spiritual. He prays but .. I don't know if it's just a me thing having an expectation should I give him grace?! To do more or there's nothing wrong with him . And we love each other a lot.
I wonder what you mean by more spiritual by, whose standards? I found that when I said I was looking for someone more spiritual I meant in comparison to my own, then I was hit with the realisation when did I become the spiritual benchmark (its a little self rigbteous) 🤭🤭 I'm now of the mindset that rome was not built in a day, I'm sure his faith will grow if he is in a strong faith community and engaging with Jesus. We are all growing ❤ I also find as Christians sometimes there is a tendency to be over spiritual, you may find that his reasoning will help balance you out As well. Praying that God will guide you.
