- There is nothing wrong with a Honda Powered MR2 that DESTROYS Supra’s with only a 600hp Turbo K24 4-cylinder engine. (basically a Two Seater Turbo Go Kart!) There seems to be just the right amount of these Honda K-Series swapped MR-2’s out there because we never get tired of seeing them. They may not be the fastest cars on the planet, but they sure are ridiculously fun! Coming out to participate in Motive DVD’s Drag Battle at Cootamundra Airport outside of Sydney, Austrailia, This little MR-2 was a straight up BLAST to ride along in!

Bought but built, but fuck it. I got mine for $14.5k USD...91 body, fresh paint, 50k miles K24A2, log header, eBay GT35, yada yada...yes it's a "budget build" but still got almost 500hp. $50k AUD is like $33k USD...I can't imagine it's gonna take me $19k to match his 600 +/- hp.

Moosy Moose don't have a heart attack douch bag, it wasn't meant as an insult. Yes, he will make this power or more with hardly any money in it, but there will also be lots of corners cut and it won't be near as nice . I like boostedboiz channel but they cut a lot of corners and as a result their cars are not reliable, makes for great entertainment though and they are learning a lot as they go.

Thats crazy man. Maybe because k24's are hard to build right I guess? my motor to make insane fast is like 15k but you can build a motor without labor for around 4-6k

My son has a built na K24 swapped 91 MR2 with a six speed and the thing frickin rips! We're thinking about bolting on a turbo...or two. Only problem is if you're taller than about five foot eight or so you're knees are gonna be in your chin.

The 2gr-fe can fit in an MR2 easy. There's a guy out of Australia whose selling built short blocks with 3.7 liter bored sleeves and can handle big boost. That would be badass reliable power

honestly I hate when the people put HONDA ENGINES in the TOYOTAS the 3SGTE has a lot of potential sometimes I think the K20s and K24s are the underrated LS engines of the JDM cars my friend has a MR2 with the 3SGTE with a lot of modifications he keep the original engines of the cars but he spent the right price to get the max performance with the original engine his MR2 has 1290 hp the rev limiter ends at 11.600 revs and he wasted 45.000 dlls

in the USA tend to read 15-20% higher then the ones in Australia.

It's not the engine it's the chassis. The MR2 chassis is a beast when it's built.

Young Dante mr2s are easier to modify. Not alot running around so parts are hard to come by.... but the 300zx is a killer car. Get the twin turbo one of you can.

Hi, i hope someday in Spain Goverment let us to make litle changes in our car engines, here we only can change bumpers and somethings like that, just stiling, never touch anything of the engine, even and oversize air filter, nothig, they don´t let us even if it´s and homologate piece, so many many problems, that´s cause i like, admirate and many spanish people like and admirate, to see all of your engine swaps and tunning, i think if they let us to improve our vehicles, mecanichs and the piece industry will make better deals and money, nice videos, keep on speed, hugs.
