I hate smoke too it’s nothing but constant pressure and 50/50’s! It’s damn near impossible to get you turn to attack but it’s funny once you predict his 50/50 mix up and the smoke player starts spamming panic teleports😂btw love the content super

Call me crazy but any fighter or kameo that appeals to kids, scrubs, has a repetition of being annoying and cheezy, I tend to avoid using. Maybe I just like the challenge or hate having that reputation of using idiot fighters designed for COD kids. So I avoid using Smoke, Reptile, Sareena etc. I just feel dumb and embarrassed otherwise.
@@roof1975 you not the only one. I refuse to play sub zero, raiden, and smoke, and I refuse to use sareena kameo. Easiest characters in the game by far. Sub zeros just run away and spam ice clone the whole match but that is his whole game plan every mortal kombat and raiden and smoke are s-tier but I could be wrong considering the game just came out. But when those are the only characters you’re playing against and everyone is using the same kameo(sareena) that says a lot. I’m maining nitara, mileena, li mei and trying to learn reiko and ashrah just to add a lil variety

@@Ninja32501right now i know how to do two combos or more with everyone but my favorites right now are raiden , smoke , subzero , scorpion , reptile and baraka. But everyone is fun and good on my opinion, i do get what you mean with annoying subzeros and smokes. I actually play them smart and do combos not just spam lmao

Geras definitely has some of the coolest moves of any MK character.
1:30 is covered in Smoke's Tutorial Challanges.
It blows my mind Super hasn't done them. You learn a lot of usefull strings and combos from those.
The Cyrax meter burn grab pop up does take two bars of meter. I’m stuck with Cyrax😂

As a guy whos only ever watched Mk and never played it kinda terrified to go online and get mixed by y'all Mk players this is gonna be my first Mk and of course im interested in Shang of all people so once i learn i decent bit of every character and over load myself with hours in training mode im off to get bodied

I'd say after am hour or so of labbing your primary combos and punishes, jump into kasual.
You won't win a lot but it will help you see what you need to practice.

I just dont like how they retcon him as a normal human fighter with smoke tech while we was supposed to be an Ennenra or something like that (Think of a smoke demon)

All you really need to know for smokey is his main mix up strings and his cancels, and when to do which specials when tryna catch people off guard

Forward 3,2 can cancel into 3,2 and the overhead can also cancel into 3,2 if you’re fast enough to cancel really quickly before they recover so the combo continues. I main Smoke

super, im have some trouble canceling bf3 on smoke, any suggestions to help ? And i highly doubt you do them but in the character tutorials, cyrax is smokes cameo and it has a combo w his forward throw
Spam back and R2 at the same time very quickly. That helped for me

Think you can select different skins in kustomization, so they will randomly switch inbetween fights
highlight a skin or palette as favourite then go over to the option that says "randomly choose favourite"

Might be too soon to ask this but who's the best and worst kameo to use so far?
If you dont Wanna read, the point is some characters need specific kameos, but most are fine which is sareena (probably the best kameo) and struggle with shujinko, anyways
Best kameo for now is probably sareena. Not that she's always the best for every character, there are still cases where there is a clear choice (ex. Kano for johnny, no other kameo offers kombo extension, projectiles and pressure to johnny as good as his) but most of the time sareena is too good to pass. The projectile hits 4 times and gives you ample time to extend kombos if it hits or to chip and pressure if it doesn't and she has the meter drain move aswell. There is no real worst because of the synergy, but if your character needs a kameo to compliment his lack of something you better not pick shujinko. Hes not bad but hes harder to use and to get the most out of him you need to have extensive knowledge of the moves hes going to copy and always get him out when you can to charge him. Long comment but yeah
every one i match against with smoke just block everything i try throw at them, struggle to hit confirm stuff and so much feels unsafe on block. get up specials always fail because get hit while turning into smokes. Im bad but enjoy character... might need to try melina or someone else soon. Dont think ive ever landed F12grab or the ex DB4 in ranked lol - block gods
Im not very good either, but If i had any tips for you, try to use/master the smoke port cancels and his mix up game with his attack strings like B234, and F/S324 and use lots of throws

@@Dennis-gy7xr Atleast I know where the characters are🙄 you need to ask people to show you where a very obvious game feature is. It’s in the kustomize tab under fighters, that’s where the roster is. Your welcome.

I hate Smoke because he has so many mixup and he is safe on everything it seems like. I am very easy to mix so he demolishes me a lot a lot of characters in this game do because I'm easy to mix.
