Nice to see a video again. The rain this year has just been dreadful hasn’t it, our grounds poached but I’ve only got 5 sheep on it and I’ve had to bring them in just to try and limit the damage. Can’t believe that people can be so crappy and dishonest! At least you’re confident enough to slaughter at home otherwise what a waste that would have been. Look forward to more updates.
@@doingoutdoors875 Ours was great thanks! We're still keen to buy some eggs from you this year, to try our hand at meat birds! What's the best way to get in touch?
It's a big job killing and butchering an animal like that pal, I did one of my pigs last summer and it was exhausting. It has been a depressing winter of rain and standing water and everywhere that we keep animals is saturated and a total mess, hopefully it dries out soon pal, I need to get the veg patch turned over and the grass on the paddock growing again for grazing the goats etc. Good to see you back again my man😀
To be honest, the thought of dispatching and butchering such a large beast is quite daunting! I know one or two people I can call on to help me out when the time comes. Many hands make light work and all that 😅. I can’t wait for fairer weather, I know it’s just round the corner 🤞🏻. I have some digging that needs doing too, it’s at times like this that no dig makes more and more sense.
No farmers, no food ♡
Great video. No farmers no food. Thank you for helping the rest of understand how we can grow a bit of food ourselves to escape the system.
Bloody heck Benjamin , not heard from you for ages … welcome back
It’s been a while hasn’t it 😅.
Nice update.
Nice to see you back 👍
Thanks 😊
